Is it normal, that I had a Sword of the Stars Complete giveaway 2 months ago and now it gets into a bundle and I lose the contrib value of it?

What was the value of SotS Complete back then? It is valued at 9.99 USD now, maybe that's the change. If price on Steam drops, your contributor value drops accordingly as it is computed based on current (base) price.

Otherwise AFAIK it is not intended to lose contributor value after something gets into a bundle if you made your giveaway before date posted on the bundles list

According to steamprices, the last price drop was in january, and my giveaway was 2 months ago:

And I lost ~$18 contrib value.
Maybe it wasn't because SOTS Complete, but some other game.

i always hate this.... like i feel bad for people who bought skyrim at 60 and now they only get 30 from CV.... their 60 should stick to their accounts... its not fair to people who buy games then lose CV months later over a price reduction

Such is inflation. Usually does good for the system but is negative for individuals.

The vast majority of users never paid anything like $60 for Skyrim, and chances are most of the select few who did don't give a flying one about CV anyway :)

Bundle games only become bundled value after the date that it appeared in the bundle. So if you gave it away before it was a bundle game then you're safe. It must be something else or a price drop like Award said.

After the date? Are you really sure? I had over 500, then 365 and now 63 ... not funny!

THQ Humble Weekly and Crazy Machines got treated differently. Since most of your CV came from those sources you got screwed big way.

It would have been one more games dropping in price by a total of $15 (the other $3 being bundle value ;lost from the decrease).

BTW OP. your CV decrease is from homefront... it was bundled on steam with guide book for 35 dollars... but they lowered it to 20 again same happened to me

It's not due to Sword of the Stars, it's due to Homefront. Homefront was always 20$, however for some reason the price on SG was 35$ (due to some pack it probably was in). That was recently corrected, I believe.
