If you put ketchup on your pizza ( not the one you put onto the base, but after it comes out of oven) you are an idiot and should be locked up . o/

I had Fries Pizza once. Not kidding. It's literally french fries on top of a mozzarella pizza. I liked and even put some ketchup on it. Delicious! xD

If you put any kind of sauce on a pizza you're either an idiot or you are eating idiot pizza ;p Real italian pizza needs no sauce, no ketchup, no garlic sauce, it's thin and full of extras, you may put some olive oil on it buit that's all, if your pizza is thick and needs sauce to make it tasty you're eating idiot pizza.

But Italian pizza has tomato sauce on it?! Agreed on everything else tho.

it has tomato sauce on it. BUT! you do not put this sauce on it. It's internal part of the pizza, part of what pizza maker put on it, not something you put on it yourself. There is also something called white pizza - it's a pizza made without tomato sauce, you wouldn't put tomato sauce on it yourself, otherwise you'd ruin the whole idea of the original white pizza you were served.

Ahhh I thought you were saying that traditional Italian pizza does not have tomato sauce that the pizza maker puts on it either, my bad sorry!

...now I really want some pizza for some strange reason :(

Wrong. Thin pizza is from Neapoli while other regions of Italy makes thick base pizza. Putting tomato sauce on base ( not that disgusting ketchup ) is the way they do it.

No, you got it backwards, if you put ketchup on the base you are an idiot, if you dip a piece into it after it is fine. Also putting pineapple on it should be punished by death.

Still better than getting lobster and putting ketchup on that. Even the idea of that should be bad enough to make one's head explode.

Well, on a cheap frozen pizza it's okay, but not on an ordered one or even more in a restaurant. And for hand-made it doesn't make any sense, since you could just put more sauce on it and spice it like you wish at the preparation stage.

I dislike ketchup on anything. It completely masks the flavor.
A friend of mine puts it on steak .... but putting it on pizza is akin to blasphemy.

Same, but I put ketchup on things when they are too hot to eat immediately and I'm hungry as fuck, because it helps cool them down. True story.
And by things, I mean things that can actually be eaten with ketchup such as fries and NOT PIZZA YOU DAMN SAVAGES

Oh, I also eat ketchup in my burgers. A ketchup-less burger is not a burger. :P

Judging people by the way they prefer to eat is a pretty idiotic thing to do.
On top of that, things like "the correct way to do something" are usually completely arbitrary.

And on top of that, ketchup.

No. Your eating habits, the way you dress and even what car you drive tells a lot about a person. For example his educational level and in general if he's a moron. If you eat pizza with knife and fork - you are idiot,if you put ketchup on it as well. You can try to turn this any way you like and say everyone is free to do what they want but if someone behaves like one = he is one, even thou it's his 'right'.

Yes, it is true that the things you do say something about you.
In many cases, though, what you do doesn't fully represent you as a person, but only conveys a small part of who you are.
It's pretty childish to assume it does, and it's even more so to think of yourself as superior to people who do a certain thing just because you do the certain thing in a so-called better (again, arbitrary and based on opinion) way than they do.
That's true especially if you have to go out of your way to point it out like this, it's a pretty silly thing to do. :)

Looks to me like you think of humans as binary things, either being complete idiots or the opposite, based on whatever thing you think would make them that, but they might be a little more complex.

Can you be sure that your opinion is the right one? If yes, how? :P

I'm not defending the ketchup on pizza point, if it isn't obvious.... not that it matters, but I don't like that. I don't really care about it or about people enjoying it, though

In many cases, though, what you do doesn't fully represent you as a person,

In most cases it does. And if you are somehow naive enough to think that dude driving Porsche cayenne, listening to russian rap music and calling his wife/gf a bitch also works on animal shelter on his free time...well...i'm not even sure what to say to you anymore.

That would be hard to believe, but I was talking about a single thing that you do.
I'm naive enough to think that a dude driving a Porsche is working at the animal shelter.
I'm also naive enough to think that a guy listening to Russian rap is working at the animal shelter.
I'm not sure about the wife thing, but if you add them together it's obvious what the logical assumption would be.

What I was saying, again, is that a single thing that you do does not define you as a whole in most cases. In some it might.
But, the sum of all the things you do defines you as a person in all cases, of course, and I didn't say it does not. :)

Long story short, in our case, chances are some people might not have heard that pizza wasn't actually made to be eaten with ketchup on top, without necessarily being complete idiots.
And even if they knew, if they love ketchup they might as well not mind doing it anyway.
It might be silly, but that alone obviously doesn't make them complete retards or people that should be locked up. The thread is a little too edgy.
