Every time I wake up after having what most people would consider to be a nightmare, I just think about how cool it was, lol. In other words, I don't really have nightmares.

I am currently playing Plague Requiem, I dreamt that I was burried by rats, when I woke up I had sleep paralysis and I thought for a while that I was covered by rats.

Once, I dreamt that I beat up my little brother so badly he had to go to the hospital. When I woke up, I felt terrible for what I had done in my dream, and for all the times I had been mean to him in real life.
I also once dreamt that I married a bowl of spaghetti and then ate her. It may be hilarious in hindsight, but in the moment I felt extremely guilty - I had murdered my wife, after all!

I dreamt I went down into a basement that had no real end. As I descended, the stairs got steeper and steeper until it was more like a ladder than stairs. Peering down into the pit, I spotted a completely blackened humanoid "shadow" floating up from the gloom of the depths. I tried to run but couldn't move, tried to scream but couldn't catch my breath. My partner managed to shake me awake. As I regained consciousness, I finally released this blood curdling scream at max volume. I screamed uncontrollably right in my partner's face and scared them so badly they jumped back. Took me a moment to realize where I even was before I started sobbing.

My scream was so sudden and deafening in the moment, I thought for sure the neighbors would call the police. After that, the stillness of the night felt uncomfortably quiet.

It was an actual fever dream because I had dengue and was very sick that day, I'd rather not talk about it.

dont wanna know, I have the same nightmare since childhood (+bump)!

The one that continues, until i go back to dreamland. A place where i somewhat have control.

The dream where I am only half asleep, and I see my closet door slowly opening and I can't move!

A dream where I forgot to register for my university courses and didn’t have enough credits, so I had to repeat a year.
Even though I graduated from university more than ten years ago…

I'm living it right now.

There was a nightmare where there was some evil dude who knew I was dreaming and told me something will happen to me in the real world. I can't remember the details.
