How many card drops do you have right now?

Can you run a game that you don't own?? I can't find no one who can, but i have a friend that he can O.O. I have tried 1000 ways to do it but i can't, And he doesn't know how. XD - sorry for my bad english :/

While you could probably enter the numbers for a game you don't own, I have no clue what would happen. You wouldn't get cards from it though.

I've done this by mistake. SAM just pops up an error message, "You don't own that game" and nothing happens.

yes but my friend can simulate some games, entering the numbers, using a new Steam account and he is getting cards from those games that don't own... i can't understand how he do it, and he is 13 yo xD just a lucky guy? Grr xD

He can't lie me, i can see how he's "playing" a game that he don't own and i can see the cards in his inventory lol and he is my friend he never lie me. Well i just wanna check if someone know how to do it but i see that anyone know it.

You can buy cards. You also used to be able to fake games played using non-Steam games. It used to be a thing to rack up hours in HALF-LIFE 3 SECRET ALPHA.

If he can create cards without the game, he can basically create infinite money. If people could create infinite amounts of Steam Wallet credit, Valve would have noticed. You can't say that people would show restraint and keep it quiet, because, well, people and human nature and recorded history show that some idiot would run it into the ground within a week.

He's lying to you.

The games he is playing don't appear like "non-steam game" in his status, and he don't own the game. Nevermind, i just wanted to know if anyone had any idea about this, but i can see that no.

oops posted cards i had at first then i read more carefully.
anyway i have:
285 card drops remaining
77 games with drops remaining
25 games eligible for booster packs

ive never really tried to farm cards except a couple of games i idled for. otherwise i try to actually wait till i play the game so i can have that feeling of getting them while playing.

I used to farm the cards as soon as I had an eligible game, but now I just wait and hope one of those games will be one of the ones for Playfire rewards (Play this game for the first time). I know its only a dime, but it all adds up.
