obs has two modes to cap in.
Games mode : will capture everything within a specific window. you have to tell the program which window to cap.
Software mode : will screenscrape everything. good for how-to's, demos, browser games, odd games that wont stream in fullscreen.
for instance, when i stream MWO, half the game runs native windowed, half runs max'd fullscreen. I just set the game to full screen border less window and software cap for games like that.

I tried to stream a game in windowed mode, but the screen is blank and nothing is shown. The screen only appear on fullscreen mode. Anyone know how to solve this? Uncle Google isn't helping much.
