Half-Life 2 Cinematic Mod: Your thoughts?

I am thinking to downloading this for replay value, but looking at mixed reviews I still have doubt if it will be worth it or not.
So I want to ask if anybody here have tried it and what's your thought about that mod.

I gotta agree CM HD models is terrible, yeah, so I'm looking to download Lite version instead.

I personally use the Fakefactory Hi Resolution pack. It's really good.

I haven't tried it myself but I don't like Adriana Lima Alex and Brad Pitt Barney and the those other models they had there. Also the "Hollywood-style music" doesn't sound appealing to me. One of their trailers was set to a piece from the Inception soundtrack, that was a bit too jarring.

Well yeah...that. I'm looking to CM12 if it's an enhancement from their previous version.
But then I read that everything like music etc is optional.

I'm really looking forward to playing that mod finally. I plan to play with original or only slightly changed models (you can pick them even in the Full version)
