300 point cap is fine. Lowering the rate at which points are generated would give you the effect you look for. But this has been brought up and rejected numerous times.

maybe it´s better to just lower the amount of points you get for every giveaway that is made, but I´m fine with how it is right now

One day there is a thread about lowering 300P to like 200P and the very next day rising it to 350+P.

300 is good. I got today to 10p and I only entered games I really like, and it was only public giveaways.

I think people just need to stop entering things they have no intention of playing and just want to have for collection purposes.

I've given away games to people, see them play for 30 minutes then scrap it forever. Maybe its because I like to know what I'm getting into before I get into it, but it annoys me when the game could've gone to somebody who will invest time to complete at least half the game.

It's fine. More users = more giveaways, so it's kinda balanced.
