There shouldn't be any cap. And you should be able to enter giveaways automatically without joining the site. And you should get $50 contributor value added to your account every month regardless if you gave away any games.

I'd prefer that, I never use all my points and when I do it's on games I kinda wanna try but I don't really want want.

Well since more contribution= more giveaways avaible then why no more point cap for contributors?

I usually dont use all my points. I dont enter if I dont want it, that simple. I guess not everyone is like me, but right now I am entering everything Darksiders and since there are a lot, I am burning my points at the moment and cursing the slower earning rate.
