Spin-Off???

I'm looking for some new games and would like see some recommendations :)

But these games must be finished within one game; no sequels or prequels or whatever :) Just one game that concludes the story!
Something like Shadow of the Colossus for example-

CTRL+F searched for "Anachronox", and found nothing. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?
Even though it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, it is a standalone experience. And it isn't too terribly long.

Lone Survivor, Psychonauts, Dungeons of Dredmor, Antichamber, and The Binding of Isaac are also damn good games.

Came in here to say that too. Anachronox is a game that needs a sequel, prequel and spinoff.

John Romero had Deus Ex AND Anachronox on his hands at Ion Storm and torpedoed it all with Dire Katana, such a shame.

Oh god, yes! I need more Anachronox. It's one of a very small handful of games that really treasure. I would love to spend more time with its characters, story, and environments.

Well that statement has been false since around X-2. If I'm counting right 1,3,5,6,8 and 9 are the ones that don't have any sequels or spin-offs. And I'm not sure on 3 and 5 as I don't know those that well.
FF II got a parallel plot/sequel thing in one of the remakes (it's in the GBA version at least)
FF IV got The After Years sequel thing in much the same way as II
FF VII got Dirge of Cerberus, Crisis Core (and maybe some stuff on mobile phones), and the Advent Children sequel movie.
FF X got X-2
FF XI being an MMO got a good string of expansion packs
FF XII has Revenant Wings as a spin-off, and FF Tactics Advance shares the same world so story-wise that could be a spin-off.
FF XIII has XIII-2 and Lightning Returns on the way
FF XIV's relaunch is also a sequel story-wise from what I understand
