Well whatever xbox online chat is then, which suggests support, if that's an online community then i suggest real support.
In no way you should have to go to the trouble to reinstall windows. I suggest revo uninstaller if it can find forza to fully clean it, or clean any stuff in windows register, by going to regedit.
Not saying it couldn't work if it's in the registry, but that could usually be prevented to fully reinstall your windows.

I reset repaired both Microsoft Store and Xbox app and still error.
Right now I am trying this user account control settings to see if it works.
At least it is downloading from scratch but if it gets to 99 or 100% and says there is an error I will format my c:disk and install windows again

Seems like user account settings did the trick however I am not sure if I can put it back to normal without bringing the error back but at least I can play now

So since the new Forza Horizon 5 update that I can´t update the game or install it from scratch and even trying to install Forza Horizon 4 I get an error.
Contacted Xbox online chat did what they told me to even watched some yt vids and still get the error either a 99 or 100% error on FH5 and the 0% error on FH4.
As a desperation I formatted the disk where I had the game hoping it would fix the error and let me update or install it from scratch but nothing.
Any ideas how to fix this or should I also format the windows disk and install a new windows?
