Best of luck Gianlucca, let's hope our situation also improves (Argentina).

I have to wonder now that you mention the FIFA world cup, are the 2million USD still used for the fibre optics ring around brazil and some other SA countries? I haven't heard anything else from that.

Sadly the third world countries economical and political situations matter very little to those outside of them, to the point where Brazilians are considered like "HUEHUEHUEHUE GIB MONI PLOX" and pretty much every other SA countryman is a "fucking mexican"; I will share the video, and hopefully raise some awareness where its due.

Not all of us Brazilians are like that, but sadly it's the majority, at least in my experience playing online.

Em MMOs a maioria é dos 17+, mas esse não é o foco do tópico então deixemos de lado.
Ps.: My english sucks, and since I'm talking to a Brazilian, why not speak portuguese?

When online the majority will treat you all the same sadly, and people see that first, instead of the individual behind said prejudices.

do not be afraid the manifestations are peacefull except for some rare cases of vandalism, congonhas airport is safe just take a cab(taxi) and ask the driver to avoid the manifestation areas and you should be fine, and if you arrive at guarulhos airport that area is completelly clean, but I kindly ask you to at least try to see some of the protests and try to understand what we are fighting for, if you believe it's a cause worth of the fight spread the word thank you and have a good trip

If you have a spokesperson or someone who is good at it, you could put a petition to Avaaz.org, and adress your concerns/problems/intentions internationally.

just google the name renan calheiros and you will see that petitions dont work in brazil after thousands of signatures asking for his resignation he like many others just laught and continue in their seats leeching the money of the people so the only way we have left to try to make a better country is fighting, thank you for understanding and I'm sorry for my bad english

No worries, I fully understand what you are saying. Just looked up the Renan Calheiros case and it is sad too hear that he is so stubborn against the public's opinion.
But nonetheless I think that organizations such as Avaaz are a good way to put the spotlight on a lot of wrong things that are going on and create international attention/pressure. Plus they have a history of success, for example in taking action against ACTA

I still wonder how you guys were able to get your own steam store, considering all the problems Brazil has when it comes to economy. Actually I don't, because for some reason people think Brazil is the only country in SA, including Valve and Microsoft :P

But anyway! I'll spread the video around some places, including facebook and twitter. I have some friends from Brazil who may be able to help me as well with that.

After all Brazil is the most powerfull country here in SA.
USA need us, China need us, even Europe need us. I don't think I need to talk about the Mercosul / Mercosur
