After 2+ years, my M90 mouse scroll button started to act up. It's out of warranty so that option is out.

I'm looking for a new mouse but I got used to on corsair's macro great macro software. Yes, it can send keyboard buttons too with timed delay to the thousand's of ms (even though I can't really verify the accuracy of the timing).

I'm thinking of just buying an M95 (which is an upgraded M90) for 60 cad$ here, but I think I want a new side button layout. I'd like to buy a new mouse that matches or beats this macro functionality.

Thanks. lvl1+

Oh also, flip the upper and lower cases

UPDATE:

Thanks guys, finally bought myself a logitech mouse. Was torn between 3 mouse at the store:
M95 - 60 cad$
G600 - 65 cad$
G700 - 70 cad$

I really didn't bother with the wireless feature since it can be plugged in wired. In the end, I went with the G700 since 12 fucking side buttons is too much for G600 and 9 buttons is still too much for M95 (Even though I used the M90 for over 2 years), 4 was perfect enough.

Not reaaallly sure why the picture us flipped if I use SG's Inline picture formatting

Razer makes overpriced mice, you can buy better quality mice for same money, and their software sucks, had Razer Deathadder 3.5G for 2.5 years, only good thing, their mice are very very comfortable.

I used Razer, won't recommend it, I vote for Corsair or Logitech.

My brother owns a Razer Deathadder, which works pretty well from what I've seen. I don't know all the specifics behind it's macroing capabilities, but I'd recommending at least giving it a look.

Can't you just macro the mouse wheel so that there's a delay, then a scroll?

nop, there's no interrupt/delay to control scrolling in macro.

That's a shame. If it was the scroll wheel clicking you could "fix" it by opening up the microswitch and bending the spring back.

When your warranty expires if you want to try, take apart the mouse, take the wheel out, and clean the little gaps well. Swab the light sensor/encoder with a q-tip or something.

I don't know too much about mouse repair, but that could be an issue - grit stuck inside the encoder spokes.

Roccat has an amazing software, that can do exactly the things you described. Image All the buttons are usually in perfect positions, and you can designate 1 of them as a "shift" key, which 'doubles' the amount of available macros.

I own Deathadder myself and even though it's a good mice I wouldn't recommend it. Their software is pure crap and the wheel is not the best (making a strange noise after a year of use). On the other hand it's really comfortable and the matte material feels great.
I'd go with something of Corsair (Big fan) or Logitech. They both create durable devices but are not as fancy as some other brands

Ok, ok, Logitech votes won.

Thanks for tipping my decision to go with logitech instead of going back again to Corsair. Although if this was On Stock I would've went with that instead. I'm a bit interested on that button layout
