Are you going to buy it?

Yes! The price is right and I want what they are offering
Bad games / Not my style
Too expensive!
I would buy, but I already own what I want
Origin keys again!? You gotta be kidding me...

I got excited for a moment. Then I found out the two games I'd want most are for Origin. I usually don't care so much about the platform, but this launcher has been particularly disfunctional, so yeah, no thanks.

I wonder if they really want people who bought that "6 months discounts as long as you don't pause" to pause, or if they hope those people won't pause because of "gamblers fallacy" that next bundle will be worth keeping the discount...

Either way it's a win for them.

Pathetic Drive.

Now that's a Sir Hardpass for me.

I just needed to say that, but I bought it just for Pacific Drave in the end :( at 6'5€ is worth it, the rest I don't care

WTH? Usually HB's options are alright for me, as I'm not chasing AAA games and I enjoy a bunch of genres, but this?
Just two games I'm genuinely keen on:
Ok, let's do the math: HL - Pacific Drive €11 + Pacific Drive: We have Liftoff Customisation Pack €4.89 + Pacific Drive: Friendly Dumpster Customisation Pack €3.99 + Pacific Drive: Anomalous Customisation Pack €3.99 + Pacific Drive: Frosted Customisation Pack €3.99 + Gravity Circuit €5.26 = €33.12 (HL!)
But I still feel robbed because I don't really care about customisation packs in games + the two origin keys and the extra games are just rubbish.
I am also unwilling to support HB with their rubbish monthly 'choice', because who knows what they'll bring next??

A lot of wishlisted games, and the others look interesting! I don't really mind EA keys, so for me this is a great month

Somehow Humble's offers are getting worse and worse. I haven't bought a single bundle this year...also I canceled Humble Choice in January because it didn't appeal to me, now it's been 3 months in a row...thought 2025 would start better, am disappointed. This is the first time I've ever complained about Humble.... otherwise there was never a reason for me.

When they start selling coupons for 6 months you lose if you pause, it's usually a bad sign.

It's just a shame I had to sacrifice my 20% store discount. 😑
Hope Fanatical does better, at least I bought a few bundles there last month.

I get it. I don't think I ever stayed unpaused long enough to get to that discount tbh.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Well, I've had enough. Too many non-Steam keys showing up, too many titles with keys exhausted before the bundle even leaves the store, keys now unredeemable if left unclaimed too long, etc, etc.

It's time to just hit cancel instead of skip...

Can they fuck off with these EA Origin keys

I think EA and Epic are going to happen more often. They're running out of devs who are willing to see their keys on the grey market and that's not something that will happen with EA and Epic. Also low hanging fruit is IGN's favorite fruit.

Huh, EA keys cheap AF on grey market. The only thing not is Epic. All gog & EA keys go for less than a cheeseburger.

WIldhearts: $1.18
ZAU: $1.03

gg deals is showing wrong pricing. If you open the websites, you will see it actually costs 3eur.

Prices are scraped periodically. Cheapest copies get bought first and new copies put up for sale will often be priced lower than current lowest. Often times with gray market sites, the price gg.deals shows will usually only be accurate for a short period of time. This is especially true for newly bundled games because of the high turnover rate, lots of keys going up for sale and lots of purchases being made.

Also the price gg.deals shows usually is lower because of a coupon that they list next to the price.

EA probably likes more users to actually use their platform so they dont mind whether the key is from grey or not. Considering they already got money from humble.

Oh I didn't know you could resell EA keys. I figured it was like Epic. Did it change or am I just confusing it with something else?

Easy solution, keys need to be activated within 3 months. That's the end of gray market.

Can't advertise those sites. Not too hard to find.

gg deals is showing wrong pricing for the gray market. If you open both g2play and kinguin, you will see that wild hearts actually cost 3 euros.
Also, there are no rules about advertising those websites. It's not forbidden by the guidelines.

Right? I don't get why they haven't done that yet. Instead it's "oops that was more than 3 years ago, f**** off" which helps no one.

It will hurt traders, who are gray marketers on a smaller scale. But who cares. What matters is getting better games.

Tales of Kenzera is the only game I'm interested in, but it's an Origin key, so... nope. I genuinely can't even get the EA app to run anymore. Uninstalled, reinstalled, won't launch no matter what. Oh well, no big loss there anyway.

Initially excited for Pacific Drive and (to a lesser extent) Homeworld 3, but 2 Orgin keys? And a load of mehs...

Might just skip this one too, upon research Homeworld 3 isn't a big plus.

Pacific Drive is even on my wishlist...

Nope. For once, there are no wishlisted games. I already own Sir on GOG (haven't played it), and I do not need a second copy.

This was ALMOST home fricking run. Top 4 were all on my wishlist. Finally one I am pretty happy with, especially with the year coupon price point

Fail - origin keys. I hate that I have origin, amazon, ubi, gog, and steam. I want just one ;\

You forgot Epic. Those guys have been giving away free games for years and I can't be bothered to login to redeem them on their app.

Like you, I just want one place, and that's Steam.

There is 1 good thing in many launchers. Some of them will allow to migrate their games to steam after closing (like Bethesda launcher)
