Entering challenge again, thanks for organising ^0^/ <3 Really liking this challenge.
Did not have time last month in the end, so hoping to be able to finish the challenge in the extended time period for this one. Gonna be some shorter games.

HEADS UP! My account was compromised for a couple of hours, the scammer used this time to spread his scam to my steam friends. The scam involves "invite to playtest for Mafia Old Country" and some sexual favors. Be careful! I don't actually have access to any playtest and my sexual prowess is very limited!
2months! Only "big games"! "Plague Tale" duology has drained my gaming mojo, so I had to rein in my ambitions :)

I wasn't impressed then, 3 years ago, cause despite the presentation the gameplay was rather simplistic and the story was too childish for my taste. After Playing: Replaying improved my opinion of the game only a bit. Probably due to my better hardware this time that can handle nice but rather cumbersome graphics. Also I managed to get surprised by totally forgetting the death of one of the characters, thankfully the rest of the cast did the same 5min later, but I found it enjoyable in my own way. |

After playing: As I was playing the game I was writing my thoughts about its design, its structure and overall set of means it uses to be an interactive art form. In the end I read it and decided to delete it all lest I end up on FBI watchlist. With restraint I can only say that I acknowledge that all departments worked really hard but in order for this game to be a game everyone made such deep compromises that they actually achieved lose-lose results for everyone involved including me. |

Before playing: Sooner or later every man must find courage to play some cult JRPG no matter how impenetrable and looooong it seems. Not playing: I'm throwing my towel with this one. I will not be able to make it. If my math is correct it will take 5h a day for the next last 2weeks to complete this game - lol, impossible, not after "Plague" mental damage to my gamer's identity! I'll play it leisurely during the next months, and from what I gather it's actually how many people play these games anyway. |

After playing: The game has 11 endings but I can't imagine anyone replaying this, ultimately, walking simulator. Too much walking in one-note environment under pretty much mid graphics. And the plot, based on S. Lem's novel, feels classic, e.g. you already saw some variation of it before. Hmm, I imagine, the developers wanted something bigger, but they ran out of the budget, cause otherwise: why even try to make such games? |

| Grim Fandango Remastered / Started on January 20th / Finished✔ on February 1st Year 4 (Spend four years in the Eighth Underworld. 4 years = 4 chapters). | Before playing: Classical Point & Click! I played some of them! And all of them had at least one puzzle that you will care for the rest of your life with "huh" bamboozlement. After playing: As I said before playing, I already knew what I was going to face. Pixel hunting, arbitrary strict order of progression and obtuse "joke" solutions - all barely legal means to make a masochistic slave out of a player. Back in the day people wandered the Earth for months and years craving the answer to that forklift shit puzzle or that vault door shit puzzle until they stumble on the solution by chance or simply reading a walkthrough from a guide magazine. What a divine liberating ecstasy they felt! Instead of annoyance I felt. |

I probably managed to make the worst line-up in my 2 years of participation in CJ's event! Even the sure-fire of being good "Persona 4 Golden" worked backwards on me and only stressed me out for a month by its presence, until I wisely decided not to play it.

Hello and welcome to the madness!
The challenge is simple: Play and beat any 6 games, starting today, that have been featured in any given Humble Monthly/Choice bundle in two months.
The prize: 2x Red Dead Redemption
Note: This means I'm giving away two copies of the game and will have 2 winners.
Game length does not matter and I'm not looking for 100% achievement runs. So long as you play and beat 6 games, I'm happy. You can go easy mode and play a bunch of 1h games or go crazy and play 6 +30h games. So long as they were in a monthly at a given point, it is all good.
Just post a comment with either screenshots/ achievements showing that you fulfilled the criteria and I'll add you on Steam and give you the link. Feel free to share your thoughts on the games you've played, but it is not required.

Why you doing this?
I hate money. That and I realized I've been subbed to the monthly for over nine years (yes it has been that long, I checked) and it occurred to me that I've barely touched the games I've gotten from it, let alone played them. Figured the same would be true for a few others, so I figured this is a good way to change that. A sensible person would probably unsub in this situation, but please refer to the beginning as to why that will not happen.
I've played the first X minutes of a game, can I pick it for the event?
No. You cannot have any play time or achievements prior to the start of the event. The only exception is idle time from farming Steam cards.
Can I play a MP only game?
No. It needs to have an "end" in order for me to count it as beaten, so it needs to have a campaign/story mode.
If a game was sold as a non-Steam copy in a bundle (origin/uplay/drm-free/etc), can I pick it as a choice if I own a Steam copy?
No. The reason being that those who own a Steam copy would have an extra option that would not be available to everyone who bought the same bundle. If the game was originally sold as a non-Steam copy, but Humble later provided steam keys to everyone who bought the bundle, then the game would be allowed.
Why six games?
The first few monthlies had 6/7 games in them so I went with that.
How long are you going to do this?
Until my credit card statements gives me nightmares.
This event "ends" on February 4th when the next next HB Choice releases, though the giveaway itself will end the day after. If you manage to finish game number six in between that time, feel free to post, but know that I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to give you the link in time.
