Will Mafia 3 Be As Good as Mafia 2?
I think Mafia 2 didn't set the standards so high to begin with...

I have Mafia in my backlog somewhere...started it once and it didn't have high resolutions.
As for Mafia 2, it's amazing. Try it out! The shooting mechanics are amazing.

It has a gamebreaking bug towards the end, I admit that it contributed in souring the experience for me.
Other than that, it just didn't seem as good as Mafia 1, which I really liked.
I mean Mafia 2 is not a terrible game, but personally I think that the story is less compelling and the gameplay has some flawed aspects.

Mafia 1 was way better anyway. Mafia 2 was just a game version of Godfather 2. Not much original story in it.

Haven't played Mafia 1 but the real question is : How do you top Mafia 2 or, from what I've heard, Mafia 1? It will be VERY difficult to meet the expectations for a third game, especially with how they are being pretty ambitious about it.

I hope so cos I am a big Mafia fan! Unfortunately it looks more like another GTA clone than Mafia... And it seems like Mafia II was a first step in this direction (don't get me wrong, I've liked Mafia II. It's not even near to the original Mafia though). But we'll see.

If the quality drop trend continues, then we have an excellent Mafia 1, a mediocre Mafia 2, so Mafia 3 is bound to be rather terrible GTA V knock-off? The whole "create your own gang and take control of the city" premise doesn't fill me with much confidence; it can be a decent modern mafia story or a mindless shooter action with repetitive subquests galore.

If Mafia 3 have a Pre Order Bonus: Mafia 1 could be better :D
But i hope it will be a good part of these awesome game series. (it's one of my biggest favorite games especially Mafia 1)

I would like some one who knows 2D texturing to give it a shot ... I play NFS U1 and U2 with some mods for HD texture and HD resolution and now the games are beasts :D ...
