The trick being 'occasionally getting added to blacklists for being a rude, self-centered individual that can't be bothered to provide a modicum of respect for the people providing you with free games'? Or can you disable the feature the script is named for? :P

yes you can, and/or you can tweak it in a way that what it does is only enter games that are in your wishlist, and it's why I use it for, why you gotta judge me like that? :P

It's still a nasty bit of behavior, so long as you're accepting gifts directly from others, rather than taking from a faceless dispenser.
In real world terms, it'd be like someone offering a table with free pie on it, and they turn around for one second, turn back, and you're walking off with a plateful of pie.
If they don't have any sort of expectations that you would interact, then sure, you're fine, albeit nevertheless still rude.
But if they've got a sheet for you to write a smiley face [for homeless orphans, you monster!) in return for the free pie, or if they've got a big sign up reading "Ask us about our charity! Free pie for listening!" then you're an asshat all-but stealing that pie.
Much like on SG, they're not likely to chase you down and cause grief for you over it, but it certainly doesn't put you in the right of things.
Oh, you can make the distinction that direct equivalency would only work for actual winning interactions, but that nuance only works if you ignore how social interactions actually work [as a process].
So no, it's an ugly behavior that's rude in any context.
Whether you can justify it or not, that's up to you- but you can hardly fault people for viewing you poorly for using it, either.
"why you gotta judge me" tries to push the responsibility for your actions on to others, and is distasteful (being that a lot of people state similar with complete seriousness). If your process works for you, then by all means, continue with it!
But don't get upset when people "judge you" over your deviation from expected social graces.
Put another way: You may think it's fine to go around dressed sloppy, soaked with spilled beer, yelling loudly- but when you enter a library, or someone else's house, or so forth, you're expected to oblige the social expectations involved in that setting.
Your approach may work for you, and you may know a lot of people that totally vibe with your approach, but it's still considered uncouth overall, and a polite thing to rein in when in the company of those that it doesn't vibe with.
Or, y'know, don't rein it in, and risk having them kick you out of their house permanently if they notice you causing that disorder.. ;P
SG is just a metaphor for life.. =O
/
(Not at all sure why using it only for wishlisted games would matter? :P)
If it's a difference of perspective, so be it, but people trying to justify it as reasonable, and the giveaway creators as asking too much, that's where it becomes.. disheartening. :P
Cool that you can tweak the script just to get a notification prompt, though-
Well, I guess; I'm far too addic- casual about SG to need such a thing. :'P

i'm not accepting anything if I don't win, and if I do, I always chech the description and say thanks for winning a game that I want. It's not like I'll walk away with the plateful.

Again, this isn't something you can excuse, since it's by definition self-centered.
If you want to embrace it, by all means, stand on your beliefs and accept the outcome of that.
But don't make excuses that don't hold up, that just comes across poorly.
Kudos on saying 'thanks', though!

at least the chances of missing a game that I want are zero to none

Yep that makes you about the worst kind of leech on SG.
Oh, and I'm only bumping this so more people see it. ;)

+1
Really, what's so hard about this? Is logging in too tiring? Then just stay logged in.
Stop being so lazy people. You just sit down in front of a screen, clicking a couple of times won't kill you. :P

People actually need SCRIPTS for that?
I can understand script for joining, even though I don't agree with them at all (it's your god damn obligation to read what GA creator has to say), but script for notifying you that you WON something?
Humanity is lost.
