The Bioshock games deal heavily with political ideology, if not actually politics in any particular place. I've not played the second game, but the first is all about Ayn Rand's political theories and radical free-market economics, and Infinite is about nationalist ideologies (specifically American ones) and populism.

Yeah? I'll add it to my wishlist. I adored that first game and enjoyed Infinite.

If you like conspiracies then The Secret World might interest you. It's technically an MMO, but can be played solo and no longer has a monthly sub. I only ever ran solo missions but I understand that there are some 'dungeons' that definitely require a party in most circumstances. The lore in that game is really, really extensive and interesting, if that's what you're into. The price has been really good during the seasonal sales too!

Huh, didn't know that was so affordable now. I may finally try it. It had some of my favorite trailers of any game to date--really solid urban fantasy stuff. The game itself looked less interesting, in that I don't usually like MMOs much.

I got it years ago when it was sub-based then stopped playing for about...5 years. Recently I fired it back up and started a new guy since the change and have had a really fun time messing around.
Everyone running around looks like they're from the Matrix or a steampunk comic, but I'm a horse of a different color!(yes those are yellow sweatpants)

The Elders Scrolls III:Morrowind
theres is a lot of racism, the different potilical groups interpret and remember history in a different way, off course the way they find more conviniet to them, and use religion to help their interest, does that sound like a place you know? :v xD

Bad Rats is a political masterpiece that deals with many important issues even the media is afraid to cover. Definitely worth the steep price tag.

How many games are there that treat topics like real life conspiracies and politics? Besides war games the only one I know is the Deus Ex saga
