It's super weird lately Steamgifts seems to not register the code correctly for a while and then after a few minutes it does work I can enter now. So weird and annoying. Thanks for letting me know :)

Did you initially try the capital letter instead of the lowercase one, and correct it afterwards?
What could be happening is that when you enter a link once, and then enter it again with different capitalisation, your browser "remembers" your inital attempt and reverts to it.
For example, if you try to access this giveaway: faBIV, and then use the correct link: FaBIV, your browser will automatically change the upper-case F to a lower-case, meaning you can't access the giveaway despite using the correct link.
(Note that this only happens when you enter the link in the toolbar yourself, not by clicking it.)
I think removing the wrong link from your history or closing the browser fixes it, but an easier solution is to change the last part of the link, where the game's title usually goes (as that part isn't important, anyways): Since your browser recognises it as a "different" link now, it will work.

It was a quick prototype to try and bring people a little smile without having to put too much effort. It was on purpose to make it easy to break lol
Perhaps it can grow into a more complete thing, resembling those infamous games like the cookie clicker/clicker heroes, and become more difficult over time :P
