Free Game Crash Time 2 on Steam

Yay, snagged a key. Wonder if it's as bad as Death Track Resurrection, only one way to find out :)

Edit: Well, it's not as bad as Death Track Resurrection, but it's still a game with broken mechanics that for me push it into "not worth playing" territory.

What I found in the first few minutes:

• Getting your car to reverse is a chore, as you need to hold back until you've completely stopped, release and then hold back again. Which is weird by itself, but also is affected by the game not always detecting you've stopped.
• Wether you land a jump or not is measured from wherever the run-up starts to the edge of the ramp. Not from the edge of the ramp to the place where you land like normal games of this type do. Result: Approach the ramp from an angle instead of a straight line, because that can give more speed ? Sucks to be you, you started from the wrong place so it doesn't count. Twist sideways just before you're airborne ? You wreck your car in a place where you're not supposed to be, but you get the objective anyway.
• The arrest mechanic doesn't work the way the tutorial explains it. And I couldn't figure out how it's supposed to work.

And that's where I stopped. Shame really, the concepts behind the game could have made it an alternative to Burnout Paradise, but the implementation ruins any potential this game has.
