Nope, the site doesn't take donations and runs purely on ad revenue from those tiny, unobtrusive ads you see at the bottom. If you don't see them, please whitelist the site :)

You need to create a giveaway and gift someone a game to get contributor value.

When you create a giveaway, you will earn value based on the $ value of the game.

ie: $10 game = $10 CV

Bundle games (games marked with a *) cap out and can only be worth $25 + 20% non bundle games in total, just so you know.

To be fair, the FAQ doesn't mention about the bundle games cap. You have to search for an obscure thread that is not pinned/stickied.
