Today, we’ll be turning sliders back on for all customers on our bundle pages while we take more time to review feedback and consider sliders and the importance of customization for purchases on bundle pages in the long term.

You're not the only one and that's probably why they brought them back.
Now let's see how long it lasts.

its changed by 0.30$, should be 10$. somebody said it takes like 2 months for them to give it to the charity soo it could be 2 months behind.

Tbh the how often did you use it is a lot better question. There is nothing to hate about it, and whoever likes it, more or less uses it. For example I really like the idea but bought so few weeklies in the past year that I repeatedly forgot to use it :D

That's also a very good idea for the poll, I usually forgot about the sliders but when I didn't I set the slider to 0% for HB tip lol.

Just as committed to supporting charity, even though we just tried to remove the option for customers to determine how much went to charity, and let us handle it behind the curtain. I guess that's why only 5% of the money on monthly purchases goes to charity, the amount they probably wanted to cap all the other bundles at too.

Maybe I'm just noticing this now; but Humble is by default taking 45% (of the bundles I checked) and they're only giving charity 5%. When did they start taking such a huge chunk? Is that new or something they've been doing for a while now? Back in the day they used to only take around 5% - 15% for themselves. I don't want to be a conspiracist, but the whole slider-gate thing just screams attempt to hide that from consumers.

Interesting how there aren't any game bundles soon after they gave back sliders.

funny, that! just noticed it myself. . .for the 1st time in many, many, MANY years, there isn't a single weekly/ biweekly bundle. strange times we live in. . .something's afoot.

Not to be paranoid or w/e but it might be so that they can say that once they brought the sliders back, bundle sales decreased. That's just a theory tho, no real backing for it.

im gonna take a wild guess and say that ALOT of people like me got the 6th month 6$ every monthly game deal and canceled right away when it ended cause its mostly trash games. but the date of the last bundle and the date of slide removal was in the same week so when they asked why i canceled with a little fill in the blank box, i gave them an earful

meh, it's probly some internal revision of policies n whatnot, trying to cut a better deal for themselves with pubs n devs, now that the community pushback on sliders increased they had to bring it back. not gonna say it's been heading downhill ever since IGN took over. . .but it's been heading downhill since IGN took over. as Konrads6 would say - profits first.

Not that many years actually. It's already happened twice after New Year in January 2020 and 2021. And there was a third time in autumn 2020. It's not that rare.
