Around half a year ago, someone - repped me for some stupid reason, and I've filed a complaint to support. To this day the matter still hasn't been resolved, so I'm wondering how long does it usually take for them to review the support ticket.

I'm asking because it sorts of hurt my trading, as some buyer has said that they're hesitant to trade because of my single spoiled negative rep.

To anyone wondering, here's the support ticket I've submitted :
'Before this I made a trade about buying RE5 but I closed it after I bought it. This guy contacted and here's our conversation :

The TOD that he mentioned is because I currently have a trade of wanting to buy Just Cause 2 for a TOD. Anyway now he left me a negative trade feedback saying 'Tried to scam me with a game key watch out people.'.'

You shouldn't have problem for that -rep if someone would actually read it. The sad truth is that your problem is also because many traders here are super lazy (and, frankly, quite out of touch with reality).

Maybe from now on I should make a note in every trade I make explaining about that negative rep. It's such a hassle though.

I do that at the bottom of my trade thread. Steamgifts is full of fuckstains like this with nothing better to do but mess with other people

Have you sent them a another ticket, and say I haven't hear from you yet, and it's been ## weeks/months?
Also you have nice shots in the ocean.

Nah, should I? And do I delete the last ticket or just leave it and make a new one?

Those shots are from my brother's, he's a diving enthusiast. It's a boon to live in a tropical country too. Thanks though.

Delete it and it may stuff things up... I'll give you an example. Msg Steam, no reply, add more info / comments. And of course if that didn't help, keep that ticket open and start a new one.
There could of been a error and it didn't get received.. Make a new ticket, and add to the subject line whatever your ticket was, eg Ticket 1234-123. I know I'm confusing, but it all comes down to, did they get your ticket, even if it says it did.

About Steam, that's what I did. Took over a month to get back to me.

And I live in a tropical state. The weather here is crap. Not even summer (yet) and it's 30ºC/86ºF, I want winter.

Please, don't complain about 30C. I would pay to be where you're at.

Humidity can get up to 100% , that's when all live in Queensland dies. Want to swap places? (Unless you're area is hotter then I'll stay here :P )

I still have support tickets for rep misuse for over 4 months. The support and mods here don't do anything but power trip and masturbate over banning people. Gotta live with your wrongful neg-rep.

That's why I use Barter.vg, cause you can't wrongfully negrep someone, and if you do the admin actually replies you!

It takes a while because User Reports aren't categorised or can be found by reason of report and there are a few thousands, unfortunately.

I'm going to close this thread and tell you to read the guidelines, as well. Misuse goes both ways.
