Hey guys, just a quick question here:

I bought Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet through Amazon, and when I attempted to validate the key with Steam, I'm told I have an invalid product code. Does this simply mean that I cannot download the game through Steam any other way than buying it on Steam? I know the game IS available through Steam, so that can't be the issue.

Basically, I'm just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this issue.

Thanks!

Are you sure you've copied the key properly? There can't be any spaces after or before it.

Yes, I thought that might be the problem as well so i recopied it and made sure there were no spaces. Still got the same error.

Having spaces after a game key has prevented me from redeeming games multiple times.

Perhaps you bought the Games for Windows version by mistake?

Yup, I did. Any way I can "return" or exchange the key for a Steam version?

Alright this is strange, I've written out the email to Amazon support but for some reason when I click the "send email" button, nothing happens.

Did you try to ninja some keys? When you enter ~4 incorrect codes, you're locked out for 1 hour and you'll get the "invalid code" message even when it's legit.
