Allowing Giveaways for Previously Free Games
I've seen this suggestion show up a few times in the discussions section, and it's one I'd like to implement. As you know, when a game is free, we typically pull it from our game list. This means if a developer briefly distributes their game for free, or if a user gives away thousands of keys on another site, the corresponding game can no longer be given away on SteamGifts. At the moment, it's unfortunate for users that miss those opportunities, since our site does not provide them with a second chance to obtain a copy of the game. We also receive quite a few tickets from users with previously free games, that simply want to find them a home. I'd like to change the way we look at those games in the future, and allow users to give them away with a highly reduced CV, or no CV. I think it'll provide users with more flexibility in terms of what they give away, and it'll provide everyone with a chance to win some great games we've unfortunately removed from our game list.

Old suggestion, and cg is actually thinking about it. Other than giving no CV, they shouldn't count towards giveaway count either.
I wouldn't mind seeing back games like Dark Souls 1 and Euro Truck Simulator 2, which were removed due to unlucky circumstances.

I think , the best way for that to work ... and not literal open the gates of Mordor and flood the site ... its to have separate tab or something , for only free games .
That may take some time and effort to put on together , but i think its the best way to do it .

Because ppl will come up with the complains OMG my page is full with Only free giveaways ... etc etc .
Just like you have Wishlist / Groups / Recomended ... it can have 1 tab for the free ones .
As easy as that .
To be fair i think its simpler to just throw keys in forum and forget bout them , but there are some nice games that got tagged free due to random circumstances ...

I know the problem, no hard feelings towards CG, when I say this, but there are plenty sites that searching works better with google.
LIke "steamgifts.com" "Topic you are searching for"
Had that last week during a school project, someone said you have to look on that site, that has many stuff you can use, so I enter my search topic in the on site search machine (one word only), and it returns not found. After I entered the sitename and the topic in google I had countless hits :)

Why should all free games be banned from SteamGifts?
I know they can be exploited to gain free CV, but...
Why not allow them, but just without a reward for the giveaway hoster: they don't count towards their CV.
And also add an option for users to ignore/hide free game giveaways.
I don't see why this shouldn't be an option. Correct me if I am wrong.
Edit:
Sorry for the duplicate suggestion! I did search beforehand, but I used too much terms and therefore couldn't find anything. Just using the term "free" gives me the other topics. Sorry about this :(
