Fucking shit, to those of you commenting here... Stop whining about your crappy internet when it's not that bad at all.
Sorry about the slightly hateful comment, but believe me. You could DEFINITELY have it way worse, so enjoy what you have will you have it.
My test.
Capped, $90 a month.

This is what I had at my mothers house, like 7-8 years ago... That's quite horrible. :P
I never get the whole whine machine about internet speeds either, The one I had bfore the current one wasn't that fast either, but it made it possible for me to download stuff I wanted, without having to wait days.
A lot of people consider my current one not too fast either by todays standards (it actually is a bit faster usually, maybe housemate downloading something), but there is nothing that won't download within a reasonable time, and I am quite happy with this speed.
But maybe being used to not having the beter internet connections for a long time helps in being gratefull for what you do have (which is a gopod thing in general I believe). Even a slow internet connection, is better than none at all.

Too true.
I used to have a very similar service than the one I currently have, $90 a month, same speed, except it was unlimited.
Let me tell you that back then I didn't realize the wonderfulness of uncapped internet... But the company started screwing with me, so I left them.
People will never truly realize their luck and they will take everything for granted, until they lose what they have for something worse. I've learned that quite quickly, and as you can see my internet is way worse than most of the commentators in this thread, but I'm not whining about it. I know that I could have it way worse, like for example, no internet at all.

Or not.
Was reading in another thread about things taking a day to download. I've not experienced that in over a decade.
Go here and take the test. I'm curious about what people have for speed around the world.
And then post your result. They provide an image link ability too.
