I'd rather have an interesting mess like Uriel's Chasm than another default Unity asset zombie game.

It is actually not a bad game, but it maybe one of the most unwanted judging by the amount of people regifting it.

I wouldn't say it's unwanted... it's more like that these big dev GAs magically attract greedy scumbags.

Yeah, I don't mind the 50 copy giveaways, but I'd rather not see the 50 people regifting it every time one ends.

IMO the game isn't bad. It's a bit repetitive and there's a lot of stuff that needs tweaking and that's it.

I actually like Overture, got it from the devs and i play it from time to time. The last update kinda messed it up though. :S

Hah, glad I finally won the game, won't need to see the massive GA's anymore.

No, digital Homicide + a lot of the other shit that comes out of greenlight are hated more, Overture isn't all that bad.

Won the game a week or so ago. Played it, was ok. That is it. It's really not that great. I was quite excited about it, but it turned out to be quite a disappointment.

Same here, I joined those 50 copies giveaways for months until I won it, and then it was kind of meh u_u

I don't know. I liked Overture a lot. It had some really catchy music in its soundtrack, which is not surprising as I've loved the sounds in all the games published by Black Shell Gaming. Its not the best example in its genre of games but it does quite well. It does have its share of problems though.

The problem is that they are so desperate for exposure ( ridiculously aggressive marketing on twitter too ) that they are giving away truck loads of keys for their games, not to mention the scores of people trying to re-gift their keys ( why do you guys even enter a giveaway if you don't want it ?) .

See that was always my question, if you're giving it away for free to the entire gaming community, how are you ever going to make any money on it?

True. I've had the same doubt. I guess its because it doesn't actually "cost" them anything to generate keys for the game and maybe they are hoping to boost sales for other games in their collection through goodwill.

I'll go with 'or what?'.

It's more like Herpes, if you don't actively avoid it then it keeps giving and giving and spreading.

Journey of the Light would be the most unwanted game of the year for me.

massive GAs, greedy/stupid people, etc. I don't mind it as it's a nice stop and go game.
