The games for the Halloween week are rumored to a few of the following (with my own rating/comment on if I think it is likely):
Blair Witch Well the publisher of this game published layers of fear and observer, so I can see it as a way to promote Observer System Redux or just to get people talking about this title again. Then again it could be the publisher adding their other titles to the store. So a maybe leaning toward likely.
The Textorcist This is very likely spot on. It's the type of game that Epic likes to promote (pixelated shooters). It's also by a publisher who has never been on Epic before and many devs/publishers make their foray on the store by doing a giveaway of one of their titles. Plus this is a game that has been bundled before. So highly likely
The World Next Door This is very likely as well for similar yet different reasons. One similar reason is the idea that both the dev and publisher are new to Epic. Viz Media might be thinking of bringing their films over (okay wishful thinking) but more likely Rose Garden games is thinking of brining Garden Story and Floppy Knights to Epic in the future. Plus Epic likes to give "kid-friendly" games when they provide "adult games" and both Blair Witch and The Textorcist could qualify as "adult" games. So highly likely.
Pumpkin Jack The least likely of the group. First off, it's releasing on the 23rd, and Epic rarely gives away games for free on their release date (the roller coaster tycoon reboot and samurai shodown and total war troy were exceptions to the rule). Second, the publisher of that game is also bringing The Textorcist to Epic around the same time, and devs rarely give away two games from their catalogue in the same week. But if they do add this, it's because they want to bring in another game that is truly Halloween themed. So maybe leaning toward unlikely.
Of course some of these leaks have been wrong, but these leaks are from the same folks who revealed that Amnesia A Machine for Pigs, Kingdom New Lands, Layers of Fear 2, and Costume Quest 2 were coming in October in mid-September.

I think State of Decay 2 is part of xbox gamepass for PC and there is only $1 for the first month. If you don't plan to play more you could easily spend only $1 for it. I used both of my coupons a couple of days ago and bought Hades and Rogue Legacy 2.
