How do I start FATE from humble bundle?

Ok so I just downloaded FATE DRM freee version from humble bundle and has anyone gotten it to work?

I thought I was missing files so I downloaded it a second time, but its just a mess and I am either blind or I can't find a single executable in the files.

My friend had the same problem, you just need to delete System32

hmm, maybe search for a "src" or "bin" folder and look in that one. or search for .exe in that directory

The "steam_appid" seems pretty sketch to me for it being drm free.

Yea I don't know why either, it also includes all of the WildTangant files.

Maybe it's in one of the subfolders
Have you tried searching for ".exe" from the root folder ?

I loooked through every folder I could and couldn't find a .exe except for directx9

You could use the md5 thingy to check if it downloaded properly.

Have you extracted it yet? It being in winrar usually means it hasn't been extracted yet.

Yes have extracted it and looked in every folder for anything resembling the game, but I'm going to guess they just uploaded a bad version (with missing executable) to humble bundle.

Does no one else have it to try?

And Undiscovered Realms (game 2) has same problems.

I don't know who support is, humble bundle group only complains about bad keys, and 1 other person on fate steam forum says that drm free version is source only.

Yea I guess I could tell humble bundle it doesn't work, but they'd probably just remove it rather than getting it fixed.

And I literally mean I don't know who the support for the game is, I doubt sending an email to WildTangent would get anything done.

Done, told them the drm free version from my humble bundle library includes game files, drm files (for steam and wildtangent) but no game executable or installer.

Guess I just wait now >.>

How'd it turn out man? ironically I just tried to use this myself for the first time a couple minutes ago and had the same problem. There are dozens of .exes and .bats but nothing obvious. I have a feeling something is missing but I dunno. The fact the game had like 700,000 individual files was the first bad sign, imo.

It's possible OP didn't even buy it. You can get the DRM-free games for 0.01$, it's condisderably cheaper than 1$ :P
