Damn I had watched some like Great Teacher Onizuka, Ghost in The Shell, both versions of Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, Devil May Cry, Dragon Ball (but I didn't like GT), Afro Samurai, Persona 4 and even some episodes of Bleach, but none of them is greatest for me.

The page loads and my faith in humanity is restored. To be fair though, my generation's go-to anime was Dragonball Z but that may have been because it was the first one with such widespread appeal in the United States. I like to imagine that if Death Note had come out fifteen years earlier, then myself and all of my friends would have started dressing like Light Yagami and could possibly have learned to like apples.

There is no best anime. Heck, there is no best anything. There are just personal choices and nothing more.

Personally, I really liked Claymore but I would have expected Raki to be a bit more useful. He becomes better in the manga but he's just a kid in the anime. Still compared to what's out there Claymore is definitely pretty good.

Unfortunately you cant find the quality of animation and stoyline found in Akira or Jin-Roh or any of their contemporaries today.

Am i blind or no one here mentioned THE BEST anime of all and it's SLAYERS. whole slayers series is fucking awesome ;D
