If we look at active users it's a different story, because most level 0 users don't return after the first day. I just checked our database and only 25% of users online in the past 24 hours are level 0.
If I had to predict how many people would contribute to a site for Steam giveaways, I'd estimate only 5 or 10%. However, we're seeing 75% of our active users successfully sending gifts in the community. To me, that comes as a huge surprise, and it's far more than I would have ever predicted.

Intresting "point of view". Stadistic rules!
It always call my atention the huge diference betwen Level 0 and Level 1, about 735.000 user, and complement with that the amount of users by country (almost 305.000 are just from Russia and United States). The first One just for see how human mind works, It´s not dificult to be Level 1 (just one GA), and the second becouse I´m from Argentina, and here the "Steam world" is not the first option (or buy a legal game that are expensive for us).
And about a Giveaway Site, in the past year, a lot of them close! and Steam is changing rules: trade restrictions, more security, close gamble sites, etc etc!
It´great we have SG Site! Make a few friends here!
