Hi,

So I own F:NV already and would like to buy some DLC! But, should I buy all the DLC or are there some not worth the money? Which DLC is the best?

All of the dlcs with 1.24€ price tag. But it comes out cheaper to buy FNV:UE xD
Edit: I enjoyed all the DLCs... so I can't really tell which one is good or bad, for me they're all amazing.

Buy the Ultimate edition. It's even uncut for Germans and cheaper :D
Also all the story DLCs are actually good.

The only DLC not worth getting is Courier's Stash.

GRA might not be worth it either. It depends on whether or not you want a bunch of weapons/armor added to the game.

GRA is actually great, its adding many challenges

unless you use a Mod to intergrate those items into the wasteland, makes it more varried and a more funny way of having pre order stuff

I'll just copypaste my reply from the duplicate thread.

Lonesome Road and Old World Blues are great, definitely worth the money. Honest Hearts is okay. Dead Money made me rip my hair out.

Gunrunner's Arsenal and Courier's Stash are okay, not needed but contain some useful and fun to use weapons and equipment.

I liked Dead Money. It was challenging.

I really preferred Honest Hearts over Old World Blues. The Big Empty was too weird for me.

Oh, Dead Money. They committed everything to fuck up the dlc and boy, the succeeded. It's ungodly awful.

Still have to mention, the only reason to get all the dlc's because they all add +5 levels.

beepbeep boom.

Oh, so you finally managed to get to the end, huh? Now you want some kind of reward, don't you? Kind of a normal thing to want after a long journey. Too bad it weights a gorillion tons and you can't carry it out with you

Actually, I loved that moment. Ultimate Trolling.

At that point I didn't have any sense of humor left for their little joke.

Nah, I wouldn't say it's awful. Actually I think it's a more interesting setting than Zion. More enjoyable characters as well. However, the posion-and-traps-everywhere-no-decent-equipment-instadeath-rage aspect does wear on you after a couple of hours.

Yes, that's the worst thing of it all. The setting was great, I really liked every other aspects of the dlc, but what was bad, was hell of a lot worse then what was good. It could have been a great dlc if not for the stupid shit you mentioned. I'm sad and angry at the same time they screwed it all up this bad.

Zion was...meh.

Old World Blues was probably my fave out of the 2 I've played, but they were both quite different so it really depends on what you enjoy in the game. Lonesome Road really gives you the feeling of isolation in a decimated stretch of land, but its quite linear for Fallout

Old World Blues is definitely the best of the bunch. Dead Money was probably my least favorite. But all are worthwhile and add to an already great game.

Old World Blues put you into a wonderful story with a completely new theme. It is very exciting and fits for roaming, kill everything on your way gameplay style.

Lonesome road is somewhat a straight forward gameplay with a story single told by a mysterious character you have been heard of in the original contents. It provides a good complete back story with deep, meaningful, although lacks of flexibility as you mostly moving forward.

Honest Heart is the worst story based DLC in Fall out New Vegas. The story lacks of depth, gameplay is mostly sight seeing.

The best DLC for New Vegas is Dead Money, where you experience the Fall Out feeling at its best: There is tricky situation requires you to observe before moving on. Some place you have to be extra careful for deadly trap. And the most amazing gameplay is to avoid the radio signal that could trigger your bomb collar killing you. There is also two or three times you have to blind guess a location of a emitter device, risking yourself into dead or alive situation. If all others DLC is about going straight forward to your destination, Dead Money and Old World Blues offer a go around, exploration with strong concept of fear. You afraid of getting kill but the rewards pushing you forward to the end. Beside that Dead Money provides wonderful experience in breaking into the most secured place on Earth, guarded by unkillable enemies. The feeling to break in and carry back hundreds of gold bars as loot is extremely satisfying.

More over Dead Money has a good sets of characters, stories and unique feeling. It is also the hardest DLC among the others.

Here is my suggestion, in order that pushing your hype forward: Honest Heart, Lonesome Road, Old World Blues, Dead Money. Playing the best DLC than the inferior ones tends to kill your mood a lot.

Dead Money has the highest replay ability as different skill build: divided into: Explosion, stealth, melee, medic can change your experience dramatically.

I loved it, I wish it was longer, many like that one the best actually, many also hate Dead Money, all the DLC seems solid for this game, all worth getting probably.

They are all good, you should bought them all e.e

You should get them all. Even if you don't play them each adds a 5+ level cap. So you can be level 50 instead of 30.

I just bought the Ultimate Edition after already "owning" the base game. I'd recommend that.

My favorite I think was Old World Blues, but I am not sure that is the name of that one, since I played all of them having the Ultimate pack. It was the lobotomy one (for those that know it). I thought they were all worth it though.

Dead Money - casino
Honest Hearts - desert
Old World Blues - research center
Lonesome Road - military base

They're all awful. The "Stash" one is just a cheat, loading you with a bunch of mid-game weapons and some great armour when the game starts (as in, as soon as you wake up). Dead Money wasn't too bad, the "new Zion" one was awful, and the science one made me stop playing because it was so awful. Lonesome Road is supposed to be good, and deals with the lump of story they couldn't be arsed putting in the original game. Go for that.

You'll want all of the DLCs. Some mods require them all, including Stash (most notably, one of the dev's combat rebalance mod; http://fallout.gamepedia.com/JSawyer )
