Me and my girl play Guild Wars, League of Legends and Path of Exile together. It sucks being apart but <3.

League of Legends probably won't do anything but pull you apart. It's stressful, if fun. Warframe's a great co-op game if you like FPS, Civ IV and Civ V are good, Borderlands and Borderlands 2, The Secret World (and most MMOs), and maybe some 1 on 1 competitive games like Street Fighter.

amen to that. League is way too stressful and I almost lost friends because of it. They all become jackasses while playing.

It pales in comparison to the real thing, so in the end it only frustrates you even more :P

TERA Rising http://tera.enmasse.com/
It's a very good free MMOARPG.

Dungeon Defenders. It's not too expensive. It's colorful with good co-op. Easy to pick up and play.

It can vary a lot depending on the personallity of both of you. I'm competitive, I like playing to win and I get REALLY frustrated when I see someone effing up on purpose, especially if it was my boyfriend. He, on the other hand, loved to eff up and laugh about it, I just couldn't play new super mario with him without being really pissed off. We had a lot of fun with Castle Crashers, Torchlight 2 and Terraria, tho.
Edit: Portal 2 can be great fun, but it's not his kind of game so I didn't play with him. |:

Diablo 2 and the Lord of Destruction expansion. A modern day calculator can run it, and it's still the best overall action RPG.

I think that's what I'll do. It's been too long since I played it anyway :)

I really suggest you try out beat hazard! You get to spend time playing a little shooter game listening to music you both have. I would suggest you two make a shared folder in drop box to share songs you both have to play it together. I do it quite frequently when I want to spend time playing with somebody and relax.

Granted i now live with my wife, however we were at one point LDR with uni etc. We played Guild wars (Now number 2 but still enjoy 1 from time to time), Civ 4 before civ 5 but i would reccomend going with 5 if you had to choose. I have sid mieirs to thank for keeping my relationship going sometimes ^__^, worms, nowadays we still play these games, albeit in the same room, and between us we have sunk 1000 into civ V :)

I'm looking for something not too hardcore "gamey" with some coop(mmo maybe?) that a lower end computer can run.
Help me steamgifts, you're my only hope!
