I'm nuclear I'm wild...
Thanks for the heads up.
I cashed in on a lot of cheap games - without checking which games I already had...

And 45 minutes after the post!
This was my humble tribute to TG

l could get very good games over time, like chtulhu, fable, lara croft something and many more good ones, then a lot of nice Indies, with just a small effort.
now I can take out a permanent tab, which is also good.
Comment has been collapsed.
If your login is still valid, you can get your item keys using this:
http://www.tremorgames.com/achievements/ajax_show_useritems.php?userid=USERID&limitstart=0
Replace USERID with your number.

I dont understand. How do we find out our number now that site is down
Comment has been collapsed.
I found the number and did as you suggested but, I face the same problem as others below. Just wanted to say thanks tho for posting about it as anything is worth a shot at this point

My session is valid, it shows all the most recent things I purchased. Think it's just that it must be they never even delivered, if that page is supposed to show keys, too.
Hmm, just tried changing the limit to 30, and even a game that definitely got a key a year ago doesn't display it.
Thanks for the link and info, all the same!
Comment has been collapsed.
You could always view the list of games from other people without being logged in, so being able to see it does not mean you have a valid session I guess. I was logged in on my phone short before it went down and haven't closed the tab, but I also can't view the keys with this :(
Does anyone know more about this php ajax thing? :D I lost so much if not...
Comment has been collapsed.
The php commands used to login would be happening behind the scenes and would not be sent the browser. They took down index.php which had that code (I also found the source). The item list is in a different php file which is still up, but calling it doesn't refresh the user's login session.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh I see, so the only way to login is by somehow "hacking" their servers or working some other browser magic...
Well I guess it's time to give up then... knowing C++ programming doesn't help at all, I should probably learn some web development at some point.
Worth a try though, thanks again!

Tonarilla, I got my order in before TREMOR shut down; however, your support did not release the keys. Will TREMOR email the game keys?
Comment has been collapsed.
hello im not from TG support xD
ask them in steam group maybe ?

Thanks for the heads up. Nevertheless, most people will remember TREMOR as a "take the money and run" site for not providing a decent amount of time for users to redeem TREMOR's currency for their remaining inventory. 4 days?
Comment has been collapsed.
I am sorry. 2 days. They take 48 hours to redeem their coins. TREMOR cheated their clients.
Comment has been collapsed.
That´s not true.
They said on day 21 that the site was closing down. I ordered three games on 22 (thursday) and I received on 23 (friday).
You only had bad luck.
Comment has been collapsed.
Why are you defending their scam? I redeemed my coins within their 4-day notice--they immediately said that it would take them up to 48 hours to deliver the redemption.
Most institutions will not last 80 years, but this site did not advertise at sign up: "Check everyday for the day that we shut down and abandon our Bllsht site and currency." They could have announced that they are closing and given a decent amount of time for redemptions (45 days?)
Why are you defending such blatant dishonest?
"That guy stole from me."
"No, you just had bad luck."
Pathetic.
Comment has been collapsed.
No, they didn´t stole anything.
You believe they are happy with hundred of keys they now can´t sell at acceptable price? No, they don´t.
If we only had 4 days, I am sure they had a serious problem and had to close the site as soon as possible.
Comment has been collapsed.
Apparently, you do not have an understanding of accounting.
game keys = assets
user coins = liabilities (users did tasks which they were paid real $$. coins are the way of compensating users for doing those tasks for them so that they would get paid real $$.)
This will never hit a bankruptcy court. Nevertheless, in an orderly dissolution, a company must pay off all of its liabilities with whatever assets it has left. No, they should not be able to sell those thousands of keys for a price because they are owed to the holders of their currency (user coins). A court would ensure that whatever remaining assets (the game keys) would be fairly distributed to all creditors.
They very well might have printed out the full list of keys that were left and will sell them in the coming weeks on another domain--improperly seizing their own assets which were owed to the user base. They denied their user base a legitimate chance to spend their user coins on whatever remaining inventory of assets that they had left.
I used the word "stole" loosely--you are correct; the more correct term is fraud.
Comment has been collapsed.
If we are going for the law path...
According to the terms and services of Indiegala, the keys from their bundles are for personal use only, and can't be selled. Humble Bundle and Fanatical have similar terms.
So you couldn´t been used your coins for any key because it isn't "legit" or allowed in first place.

Legally, I am sure if we had studied the terms and conditions of Tremor Games, we would have found that Tremor Games specifically wrote in a clause saying that their currency can be terminated at any moment. So, from a strict legal angle, I am sure that they covered themselves from a civil court case.
Nevertheless, I still use the generally accepted term--"fraud", for not honoring their currency and shutting down at a moments notice. My original suggestion was 45 days. It is an interesting effect that dissolving companies realize that they cannot announce that they are shutting down, because their own employees will run for the door to get a job before it is taken by a colleague. And, customers will dry up for fear of less "back-end" service or returns.
More to your point: Tremor was illegitimate from the very beginning. So many activities involved generating fake traffic on the internet to fool search engines that something is more popular than it really is. Many of these source activities were illegitimate, which made Tremor also illegitimate for another reason. And, we the end user could participate in these illegitimate activities. I spent a bit of time in the beginning investigating the inane activities that would earn a few coins that could be traded for a few pennies. I have not bothered with Tremor since my initial investigation and was ignoring whatever value of their pseudo-currency that sat dormant in my account.
This hints that they were not holding assets (game keys) from the beginning to honor the pseudo-currency that they created. Otherwise, they would be rich with assets right now which would cover never-claimed liabilities accounted in the never-to-be-spent currency held in dormant user accounts.
Moreover, the end game of capitalism (legally covered by US law) is to shrug shoulders at the creditors. Say "sorry" and shut down, gleaning the extra money on the path to that demise.

That's interesting. I never figured the fourth paragraph.

So i found some similar sites...
Before tremor closed, i was went through the forums, and write down some similar sites mentioned there:
Anybody know anything about any of these?
How are they working? How are they compared to tremorgames? Are there flash games or working offer walls? Any info would be useful, i think not just for me, but for everybody who loved tremorgames.

Is it manual? because I tried to trade but it seems not accepting it!.
Edit: I guess it's broken because even signed up for newsletters ends up 404.

LMAO, it's not even close to tremor, all of the games they sell are complete trash from otakumaker and cheap russian reseller market places.
Not to mention that the price they want for these games is cosmically high.
LOL

Huh! Tremor Games is closed down?! I still have over 20 000 tremor coins in there that I haven't spent because I moved to a different country which won't let me access my TG account from my current place and I wanted to purchase some decent games as soon as I return back to the place I made my TG account... Oh this is very inconvenient indeed. :(

I've just visited Tremor minutes ago. No vital signs. I guess we can pronounce it dead.

They have some good game deals but It´s not what you´re looking for. Tremor Games was a great way to give something fairly decent without spending a dime. All you need It was 10 minutes of your time. On the other hand I´ve heard Gamehag is ok.
