I'm nuclear I'm wild...
Picked an indiegala game for my last coins, made sure it said "key" not "link" because of the common "This gift does not have an associated email address. To see the content of this page, the creator of the gift must re-submit the email." problem with old indiegala links.
Got a non-working link anyway. Here's hoping their support still works to fix or refund it :/
Sad to see it go -- also used it mainly to pick specific Indiegala games as there's usually just 1-2 I like and I can't currently afford even happy hour groupbuys most of the time. My only regret is that I didn't start using it earlier! (started in May)

Refunding tokens for steam wallet, so I'm a bit disappointed I will not be getting compensated for the profitz I made for them through my slave labor.
Oh well... their karma to live with, taking advantage of others and then abandoning ship - not mine. Thanks for the short notice.

Awesome. I tried to purchase $5 Steam wallet, they "refunded" it, so now I'm stuck with 4000 coins and no games in their store remaining that I want. I guess, I'll just look through the rewards once more and get some stuff for GAs then.

The timing was really on point, There were enough signs the site was close to an end, despite the insults of some hardcore users when that topic came up. Even Ruby appreciation thread was like a few months ago.

Meh. Trophies, surveys and minigames were never available in my country and the only way to earn coins was by logging in every single day for 3 miserable coins, made 2300 through perseverance.

Aw, that's a shame. I liked the site a lot.
But it had a lot of issues. I remember not being able to log in once for like 6 months or something and the support couldn't help me at all.
EDIT: Even now I can't change my password. lol. Always had issues with the site.

That's odd. I created an account on my hometown and asked for a new password today. I was able to log in on a different PC. Just grabbed some Civ 5 & 6 DLCs to give them here. I just hope It wont get banned tomorrow since It's a different MAC address.

Is there an alternative with the same option as depositing sometihng to get the value and buy games after? Like humble bundle gift link or csgo/tf2 keys or gems?

I wasn't using the site much anymore so it's not a big loss for me, but I've seen a good number of people who used it as a main source for their giveaways. It allowed people with no disposable income to grab a few games for "free".
I managed to spend most of my coins so I won't lose anything.

They're probably swamped by the swarm by now and refunding wallet-gifts. On a similar note their bots are likely offline so that game which is indicated as "gift" is in limbo right now. If they refund you in time to get something else, you'll be lucky..

I used to do a 10-15 minute survey every morning. Never thought this would happen. Seemed like a solid site even with the trading bots off. Sure, It was unfair with all those users that grabbed the best stuff in minutes. I still remember that thread about some guy nicknamed Cipolla that took all the Mafia 3 games.
Great site, some "small" mistakes and maybe some sort of tax evasion or who knows what.
R.I.P.

I don't know why they did not try to sell the website instead of closing it. AFAIK a site like this does not exist, at least with so many games (although 99% of the content comes from Indiegala bundles). The catalog is immense and the web is fast, responsive and easy to navigate.
I will miss it a lot, specially when I only want a few games from Indiegala bundles.
