- Post a picture of you in a Halloween costume (with a visible note with your username), or
- a spooky-fied screenshot of a character from a game you're playing (need to be on your steam profile)

Just to clarify: it has to either be an already spooky screenshot or any screenshot edit and spooky-fied (using hpotoshop/gimp for example), right? Does it have to be uploaded as a screenshot or can also be uploaded as artwork? Do you have to own the game on steam?

Thanks. I was actually thinking that if I use as a base something cute from a family-friendly game, it might be better not to upload it as a screenshot for that game (since it would probably not be adapt to be viewed by children and those games don't have an age check).

I don't really celebrate Halloween in Germany, 'cause I think it's... not necessary as we have carnival, which also isn't really something I celebrate... But anyway... There was this one time when there was a zombie march on Halloween in a neighoring city, which is luckily also the origin of our favorite bar, so two friends and I got the cheapest things we could find to get dressed and blend into the crowd of costumed drunks.
One guy dripped red food coloring on a white shirt, the other dug up a cheap carnival costume and I wore a self-made mask I had lying around. This is years ago back in 2011.
Here's the group pic we took back then, where I was wearing that mask. Here's proof that it's actually a mask and not just me editing my face black and below is the picture I took minutes ago. I wore a scarf because I can't fit my beard under the mask and otherwise it would look silly. Like... Even sillier.
