Sorry for your ban, but that sounds pretty legitimate. No begging really means NO BEGGING. Not SOME BEGGING IF THE ITEM IS CHEAP ENOUGH.

That's a good point. Plus, any contribution to the site, by definition, is beneficial and improves the site, public or not.

I'd assume things like "i can has invite pl0x?" would be what's considered begging, rather than "hey, if you have an invite, and gave it to me, that'd be cool, but if not, that's cool too"

Rule of thumb don't ask for anything regardless of how cheap it is. It will be construed as begging even if it's Dota 2 or Metro 2033.
