Well that's interesting. The three games selected for almost every task have changed in the time it took for me to take my dog on a walk. The only task that didn't change was "Play Next". (You'd expect it to be "Time Machine", but my second Steam purchase was a bundle so the second and third games seem to be chosen at random.)

Honestly, this kind of thing is starting to irritate me.
On the one hand, it can help you play some games that would otherwise just gather dust in your library, but on the other hand, sometimes, you just don't want to launch 10 random games just to get a badge :/

What is the link for badges without adding the ID, I remember there is one that automatically redirects to your profile

On the Event page click Lets Dew This and then bring up the Console with Ctrl+Shift+J. Enter in the following to get all the IDs for ASF.

If any of you uses Idle Master Extended like me, just create a shortcut using windows prompt (right click) to "steam-idle.exe".
When shortcut is created, click in properties and paste the AppId of the game in the end of the path. It will be something like:

"C:\Users\Personal\IdleMaster Extended\steam-idle.exe" 359550

No need to create another shortcut to launch another specific game again.
Just click in shortcut properties (right click) and replace the AppId in the end of the path.
The AppId you can easily find in the game page link in the Steam Store. It is the number with, usually, 3~6 digits:

That's also the method to idle any specific game using IdleMaster Extended.

Thank goodness for ASF. This whole thing took 2 minutes on a computer that doesn't even have any Steam games installed. xD

Well, I did enjoy that quick game of Peggle.

I'm mostly on Steam to buy games and play them; I'm not big on levels or badges (kinda had to have that Mother Herself badge, though) or most of the other community features, but I really enjoy these Spring Cleaning events. I'm usually laser-focused on the game that I'm playing, and this throws other stuff at me and says, "HEY TRY THIS." I had more fun with last year's, because there was more to do, but I had fun lighting up my little house.

I loved this last year, but this year for some reason it always asks me to play the same 3 games in each category (last year it was a different set each day), plus there are no free trials, so it really feels half-assed. Not worse than the terrible Chinese New Year "event" which was just whale bait, but still not very interesting. If those 3 games never update I might have to do what apparently everyone else is doing on this thread and just idle them for 5 seconds :/

It was an easy level 3 badge to earn. Pink Hour and You Have to Win the Game were the only ones I had to install before completing all the floors' suggestions. I also got to make some good progress on my latest Darwinia save I had been neglecting.

I didn't confuse the event as a sale, so I have no qualms with it and I'm looking forward to the usual, upcoming summer sale.
