then send key button will auto show them the key when they win

When I'm running a giveaway for keys, do I just hit Send Gift to the winner, and they key is automatically sent?

Yes.

When creating the GA it will ask for a key or gift. Select key, put your key in the description box, when the winner is selected hit "send gift" and you're all set.

You can also put complete gibberish in the key box whilst your setting up your GA and wait for the winner and then click "modify" and enter the key at that point, then click send gift.
