Puzzle for the Witcher!

I finally decided to do my first puzzle and here it is! And because I know it's really annoying to spend time to a quiz only to find you either own the game or don't want it, so I say already now it's for the Witcher. I made quiz of my favourite subject/hobby, fantasy and medieval stuff. I guess everyone as interested in the subject as I finds the quiz rather easy, but maybe those not so familiar find it somewhat harder, and hopefully learn something along the way. :)

But here it is: Witcher puzzle

Note that there is a very minor mistake on question seven: you must type answer as one unit, forgot to add multiple unit in correct answers.

Naturally, DON'T post hints, answers or giveaway link. I will post hints here if I see it necessary.

You got 2-3 days, try to have fun solving.

Google is your friend. I thought it would be good for enthusiasts of the subject find puzzle somewhat easy but that everyone should get it with some googling :)

Can't get number 3 at all, number 2 was easy enough, but I'm getting really hung up on 3...

EDIT: Never mind! Was thinking of the wrong type of cavalry. Got to the end :D

I could think of many. I don't know why the answer to Q3 is not valid for Q2. That's weapon is like the bread and butter for any army.

Being a huge fantasy/history geek, I've got most of the answers correct, but the one concerning schools of medieval weaponry (and medieval weaponry in general) is giving me a hard time. How exactly worded do the answers need to be? For example, if I were to write "sword" instead of "swords", would it accept both answers as correct?

To clarify, I have a problem with question 5, I've solved the rest easily enough.

Once you figure the answer the formatting shouldn't cause any problems :) Try some googling, maybe?

I know I've given like, eight different, yet correct answers to number two, but alas. None of them have been deemed 'correct'. Does it need to be singular? Plural? I'm probably overthinking this.

It's singular, and yeah maybe I should've added more correct answers, but can't do that now ^^ 2 of the correct answers are all about penetrating, as a small hint ;)
