Here is more information. Pretty neat deal if you don't have MoH, MF2 or DS2... Though I'd rather having those three on good ol' Steam.

I guess that as soon as EA released that BF3 would only be origin exclusive then the pre-orders slumped. To try and gain a larger market share over CoD and boost pre-order sales they are trying to buy their customers with free games.

You have complete permission to laugh at anybody who orders the MoH as the free bundled game.

oh it was even worse...

  • 2x4's on the floor completely block your path, basically everything was blocky invisible polygon that would catch you and the player animation was useless at getting off/around/over these obstacles
  • the levels are designed as a bottleneck forcing you down narrow corridors where snipers just fuck you up
  • pistols do more damage that rocket launchers (they may have fixed that but explosives were just useless)
  • any gun was super accurate at long range with limited/no recoil
  • MoH made CoD:MW2 snipers look like badasses... it was that simple... no seriously the levels were designed with perfect sniping spots that were near impossible to see/shoot at without totally exposing yourself and because explosives were so bad (at one point you could fire 2 AT rockets at someone standing in the same room and nothing would happen) and the rifles so powerful that it was a turkey shoot and near on impossible to advance without a sudden rush from everybody
  • level design was rubbish, on a mountain level you would spawn a few meters back from fur furthest advanced guy, but the only cover was on the edge of a cliff... so when you spawned you would automatically fall to your death

I stopped playing it very early on because it was intolerable

just playing it when it first came out during beta, then when it was officially released (the beta was essentially just the finished game testing server stress) and off n on again and from what friends tell me

the fucking mountain

and how could I forget? Whilst deadly accurate assault rifles had crap damage... you could load an entire clip into a person before they died... pistols, snipers, nade spam and kill streaks are the weapons of choice

M60 zero recoil

average sniping with humongous hitboxes

and for the life of me I cannot find the video of the guy sneaking up on a sniper with an AT4 rocket launcher, hitting him twice and then throwing grenades only to have the sniper shrug it off, turn round and kill him

instead here is something that fails less

LOL, I loved the last video. Though it kinda reminds me of CS:S - I believe the most damage you can do with a nade is 93, even if it's directly under your feed. But this is worse - it's A ROCKET LAUNCHER! Even made me smile, lol.
I'll definitely post this to my blog, do you want me to include something, like your steam link/nickname for pointing me to the source?

btw it seems the offer ended on the 7th August

that video was made during the beta but do not forget the beta available to the public is nothing but a server stress test, level design test and glitch finding test... otherwise game play will remain the same (the damage done was increased after this video but it is still not enough to kill people apparently)

I have heard no good reviews of this game ever... when people moan about Duke Nukem: Forever (which I thought was a pretty fun game to play) I simply remind them about MoH and how they wasted £50 on it and suddenly a game that is based upon fart jokes, punching aliens in the balls and strippers seems like an alright game

I found out about it about 12 hours ago, then it was still working, so you're wrong about the 7th August.
Lol. Yea, Duke Nukem is a fun game to play if you won't compare it to the old good Duke Nukem 3D and it's addons. :P I would get it too, but I'm short of 49.88€, lol.
I believe that i have even wrote something about Duke Nukem: Forever in my blog, what disappointment it was compared to what everyone has been expecting...

yeah it was a pretty bad disappointment but it was still a pretty fun game

maybe if they used a more recent game engine or something people wouldn't have been whinging so much... multiplayer was a bit crap though

in my eyes... if it I have a laugh and have fun playing it and is challenging at times I consider the game a success (especially challenges/puzzles... I nearly broke up into laughter when he made a reference about Half Life puzzles)

it's just people going nuts over advertisements, community induced hype and big extra bonus packages (who the hell thinks the game is gonna be awesome basing their idea on a bust of Duke Nukem anyway?) and regarding duke nukem 3D? that was just a port of Doom3D and duke never spoke until the 5th level so people who complain about it not being like nukem 3D havent really played it... apart from the linear levels, that shit sucked in Forever

ps slapping triple wall titties that squirt milk is hilarious and the few second of that enjoyment out does the previous games

It could be that most people are talking about the 'speech' part of Duke Nukem. I'm talking about other things. And yea, I'm disappointed about Duke Nukem Forever if we take in account that it's a sequel.
As for the point of big packs, I completely agree. Some people buy games to get a hat, lol.

Sure there wouldn't. Well, except from old-school, hard-core gaming, bitchy about imperfections of games, duke nukem fans like me. Lol.
Hell, if they would add a hat to every game they sell - Steam sells would be up at least 20%!

Are you shamelessly spamming forum threads by asking people if they are trying to promote their blogs? Spam posts are against the rules, you know, unlike advertisements and gaming news. :P
