You surely have read about this type of giveaway drama, maybe even had a bad experience yourself...

Well.... I haven't. And that's something to celebrate! also: my ratio is under heavy pressure for winning to much games these past days!!!

stats:
Gifts Won 77
Gifts Sent 111

Sure, I had to reroll a few times because of regifters, had to wait a few days to recieve my gift or had a hard time contacting a giveaway winner... but in the end it always worked out fine! All 188 games marked as recieved with happy faces on both end of the giveaway!

Please celebrate with me by entering this

And post your own drama below if you like :D

Thankfully never had any drama, althought I'm pretty new to all this. Just a quick question for you, if you see that the winner of one of your GA got one non-activated game, but it's been only a week he won it and all his other won are activated. Do you let it be and tell yourself he just haven't had a chance or report him? Because I'm facing such a situation and am not sure what to do as I've only been here a month.

I think I would just contact the winner and ask him/her...

I'll do that, it's a great idea. Thanks for your advice:)

If they marked it as received and didn't activate, ask for the reroll. You're not supposed to mark it until you've actually activated the game.

67 games sent, have had to reroll twice. Both times users who already had the game in their steam library. A double win is a 5 day suspension according to the rules, but I don't think any of them did get suspended. Support just rerolled. I didn't report the users, just requested a reroll.

I had a bit more drama with another giveaway. The winner had a few non activated wins (4-5 of them if I remember correctly), so I checked with support (a user with non activated wins is an official reason for a reroll). Got a reply the next day, the user already received suspension for those non activated wins, and it was OK to send the game. During the time I waited for support, the user had already posted "I haven't received my game yet!" in the forums, and this was less than 24 hours after the giveaway ended. Of course there was a link to the giveaway/my account and some other user had to comment regarding the "calling out" rules. Well, the user got the game the day after the giveaway ended (after I got the reply from support), the user then deleted the post, marked the game as received and redeemed it to their Steam library, so it ended well without any need to reroll.

Never had drama here also I should giveaway more games. I've given away 124 and only won 16 so our ratios are WAY different, but I do want to giveaway more games and I got a few laying around so I may hold my own train soon.

Night (at least in my time zone :P) bump ;P

Also, so far I never really had problem. Once creator of GA that I won gave me not working key (he forget that he activated it -.-) and wanted to give me other game instead. After long disscussion I finally managed to explain him that he need to give me a valid key, and after hour or two he delivered it.

One guy from my country apparently doesn't want to send me my won key, and other winner marked his key as received, which he clearly didn't even received (checked that, wtf), so that is the only bad thing I have experienced on this site. Bumping :)

you gotta love your support-work for this site :D

Somehow the quote feels like an actual quote you just encountered during your daily round of suspending and permabanning our community's finest...

I wish you all the strength to keep up the good work! :D

It's a manufactured quote, but based on actual situations. Lest people think that Support is all negative experiences, there are positive aspects to the job as well. Chief among them is the ability to help people and keep the site functioning well.

Don't get me wrong, I think stuff like this is hilarious.

What's the thing you like most to do in your role as support? I would imagine it would be something like helping someone out who's doing a special event by allowing more giveaways to be created or allowing special rules.

I always thought a bump was a nice gesture, like a manly sign of friendship. "Hey man, ik really like you but don't feel secure enough to show my feelings so I'll just gently slam my body against yours... Bump!"

but... stab!? I have some difficulty seeing the friendlyness here... :p

The one giveaway I ever made went fine. Maybe it's because I never checked to see if he re-raffled, but I didn't care what he did with it.
Edit: Apparently, he never re-raffled it.

Perhaps it's time I re-evaluate my opinions on matters like this.

I saw a lot of GTAV giveaways these days and mostly, creators are newbies who thought that create a GA will give them the game...
