Sure thing! https://www.ea.com/en-gb/news/ea-and-valve-partnership (EA's press release from late 2019)
FIFA was actually one of the first titles announced for the entire EA+Steam partnership.

Actually, they might release their new titles on Steam without requiring Origin, but unfortunately the older games are most likely going to stay as they are (since their PC versions were built with Origin DRM in mind). Their newest game (Command and Conquer Remastered) can be played without Origin whatsoever - it's just a normal Steam release. We will see what happens in the near future with all of the upcoming titles.

It's done by a major studio, and was intended to be a huge release. It'd be weird if it didn't look great [well, with appropriate note given to the contradiction to that which was ME Andromeda]. [Going off the many articles on the matter] there were however a ton of development issues, the launch was plagued with issues (and the game has seen many new issues since), the studio has been hostile, troubled, and neglectful, and updates have been few and lackluster. It's really a game worth googling up information on before investing in. I mean, even more than one should already be doing for any game.
More pointedly, these are the "People also ask" results Google is giving me for "anthem game" presently:
Is anthem a dead game?
What is wrong with Anthem?
Why was anthem a flop?
Is anthem ever going to get better?
Ouch.
That said, recent articles make it sound like they're planning on doing a full rehaul of the game (titled "Anthem 2.0" or "Anthem Next") so perhaps it'll get polished up to a less niche sort of game as time goes on. That said, several articles [ex] give the impression that it's not something to put much expectation behind.
