I know of a bunch of Data Warehouses which could benefit from these...
For personal use I don't see much need yet though.

I assume the price of 1 drive will roughly translate to 10-20k usd... i can just assume that the assembled pod wll cost like 1-2kk then. I can think of different things with the given amount of money ;)

We need 1TB consumer SSDs for less than $100 but this is an interesting progress.

i could easily make due with a SATA II 32 GB SSD ...
for now i'm good with the S-III 250 GB SSD i got
... next up would be either be new SATA Ports or M.2 ones

I want one.
