Danganronpa is classified as a visual novel, yes, but not really an otome game.
The best suggestion is for you to check out vndb.org and look for otome, as well as non-otome visual novels there. I guarantee as soon as you'll find your way around the site, you'll find dozens of eye-catching VNs :)

Thanks :D
I'm going to see this not on the site, thank you very much for the suggestion ♥

I know different Otome Steamgroups (one are the one that Adam linked). Because the fem Owners of that groups are all steam friends of mine but partly not "best friends" of the other groups i don't want post the links to there groups here. No one should feel if i support "the wrong" ;o)
but you can write me at steam and i send you private the different group names and/or links
Search at best at the Steam groups and here at sg in the recruting Section of the Forum with "Otome". That should show you the most of them.

I'm going to do a little tour to see the different groups ^^ Thank you very much ♥

Sweet fantasy is a yuri but I think we all get you're going for the idea of a female main character. Plus just finished that myself yesterday
I would suggest games from this company
https://store.steampowered.com/developer/dogenzaka
They do plenty of otome games, while they may not be as high quality like the ones you listed you might find something you like.
There's also this company
https://store.steampowered.com/search/?publisher=Cheritz
They produce Korean otome games based on dolls and animes becoming humans
and finally
https://store.steampowered.com/publisher/roseVeRte
Straight up they don't have the best art from the start but have started to improve in their lastest ones. They also might not have the best story but all their games have their own little charm which for me keeps me going back and buying them all. Plus they go for cheap and can be quite quick if you don't have alot of time

I'll see about it :) And yes, I have a preference for a female main character
Thanks for the direct links ♥

Let me recommend you Hustle Cat https://store.steampowered.com/app/453340/Hustle_Cat/ and Animal Lover https://store.steampowered.com/app/542200/Animal_Lover/ (this one being on sale now) - both very enjoyable

Thank you very much for the recommendations. Both intrigue me enormously and I add them with this step in my wishlist ^^

A couple that I have played and were not already mentioned in the thread:
Cinderella Phenomenon (this one is free and pretty good)
The Confines of the Crown
Anyway you can't go wrong with Amnesia, it's one of the best otome I've played. I also highly recommend Cinders.

I'm downloading Cinderella Phenomenon to play tomorrow ♥
And I add The Confines of the Crown in my wishlist, it looks pretty cool :)

I'm seconding The Confines of the Crown. The romances are a bit rushed, but IMO the awesome, extremely competent heroine makes up for it.

Although I think what makes this game great lies more in how you have to play each route to understand everything about the political plot, I liked the romances, especially Gaston's. I was just expecting comedy and it turned out to be surprisingly sweet. I still have butterflies in my belly whenever I think about it.

If you like games with routes where you need to play all of them in order to understand the overarching narrative, I highly recommend SoulSet! It's one of the best examples of that I've seen in a VN.

Indie Western Otome:
I usually play commercial otome games on my Vita, rather than my PC, so I haven't tried many of the ones available on Steam. That said, here are a few from my wishlist that I've heard are good:

I have an overall Visual Novel Recommendation Masterlist here, if you're interested, of both otome and non-otome variety.
While it's not an otome PER SE, romance and love is very much at the heart of the WORLD'S BEST VISUAL NOVEL, the House in Fata Morgana. That one is always and forevermore my go-to rec.

Yes I am interested ! Thanks for the link ^^
I do not know at all, I'll see it !

Hello everyone !!
I'm slowly recovering to Otome Game (and Visual Novel simply) I have several (some of which have been offered to me)
My last three acquisitions are:
Amnesia : Memories
Hakuoki : Edo Blossom
Hakuoki : Kyoto Winds
I do not know if Danganronpa falls into this category as well, but I started it not long ago. In addition to Danganronpa, I also play Blood Code for the moment.
Otherwise, I enjoyed playing Elisa: The Innkeeper, Major / Minor, Hatoful Boyfriend and Pastry Lovers. I have also played Sweet Fantasy lately if it helps.
I play mainly on computer and via Steam, would it be possible to have game titles on this support? Thank you in advance.
Have a nice day and sorry for my English a bit risky ^^"
