All of the questions on part 1 should either be obvious (like question 1) or easily searchable (like question 4) with one exception. Question 2 (the medical one) may require a small amount of research. Question 7 is in the first category. You do not need any research, merely to describe what you are looking at.
Part 1:
Question 5 - I realised that there may be some abiguity on the third word. Which could legitimately be a 7 letter word beginning with a B or one beginning with a W. I am looking for the word beginning with a W. Sorry for any confusion.
Question 7: Puzzle 7 needs no research. It is literally just a statement of what you are looking at. You know from the letter counts in the words that one of the words you are looking at is 4 letters. Can you see anything in the picture that could be 4 letters?
Part 2:
Hint 1 of 4: The word describes the view of a puzzles board filled with nothing but jigidi puzzles
Hint 2a of 4: The answer to part 2 is a single 7-letter word.
Hint 2b of 4: Hmmm... There are 7 jigidi's in part 1 and a 7 letter word in part 2, it's almost as if each part 1 puzzle yielded a single letter
Hint 3 of 4: An excerpt from the Tao Te Ching (Dao De Jing) by Lao Tzu Chapter 11
"Thirty spokes share the hub of a wheel; // yet it is its center that makes it useful. // You can mould clay into a vessel; // yet, it is its emptiness that makes it useful. // Cut doors and windows from the walls of a house; // but the ultimate use of the house // will depend on that part where nothing exists. // Therefore, something is shaped into what is; // but its usefulness comes from what is not."
- Translated by Kari Hohne, 2009
*Hint 4 of 4: Have a listen to this
Now the link is to the performance of this song at the academy awards. The Oscars is totally irrelevant. The hint is in the song itself. not this performance of it.
The puzzle ends on 19 Feb.
As of 11:00 GMT on 19 February with 12 hours to go

Fixfx wrote: 2a & 2b are not really hints as we already knew it's a 7 letter pure meta. 7 words = 7 letters, no?
Not necessarily.
Consider the fairly straightforward pure meta (off the top of my head) where the answer is a 6 letter word. with the six clues
Sargeant
Red
Globe
Doctor
Bell
Barry
The answer is pepper because each of these words can precede "pepper" (Sergeant Pepper, Red Pepper, Globe Pepper, Doctor Pepper, Bell Pepper and the actor Barry Pepper).
Its a pure meta, but one that takes each previous answer as a word rather than a collection of answers.
By contrast consider the really crappy (just made up at the keyboard) meta called X marks the spot.
Don't have a stroke, but your answers are:
Deng Xiaoping
fox
Rievaulx Abbey
Micrografx
Here the answer is GOLF. Explanation: The title X MARKS THE SPOT should clue you to look at and for the letter x in each answer, and the presence of the really short "fox" there, gives few options. Here if you take the character that appears immediately before the X's, it reads G-O-L-F, which is further clued, by the text telling solvers not to have a stroke.
In the latter case, we are treating "Deng Xiaoping" not as a man or even as any set of letters that have any meaning beyond being a set of letters. What hint 2b was trying to suggest is that the meta in this event is of the latter type.
Hope this helps.

Question 5 is a little tricky, it's not the longest or shortest of the answer, keep trying and you'll get the right fit.

I accidentally close the window with what was required, could someone post the text here? I don't think it would spoil anything. it's just in the format "description" number of words and length of each word(s)
Thanks a lot.

There wasn't one for that one, just what was shown in the finished jigidi.

All done except 7, I made the mistake of closing the clue so having been guessing without knowing the number of words or letters :( Will wait for hints!

I'm very bad with metapuzzles... I'll never solve the part 2, but thanks!

I feel i'm very close to answer part 2 but not getting there. I figured out the certain universe with it's important character and organization but can't find out what your question is :D

Solved the first part. Don't think I will spend time on the second part since I already own the game.
As a hint for everyone who attempts to solve the first part - it is solvable without doing the jigidis, except for maybe question 5 and 7 where you need hints to proceed.

Am i famous now? :D /s
So in fact this seems to be a Jigidi Multistage Itstoohard puzzle...so overall 88% of all voters should be pleased in some way :D seems almost perfect!
But yeah, i agree on your "AHA" theory (experienced it on my own) so im really glad you made this puzzle, since i love both, jigidis to just relax and more challenging puzzles for the AHA.
Looking forward to try to solve it :)

This puzzle has its genesis in a poll that Powerziege created about a week ago. Powerziege ran a poll asking which types of puzzle people most preferred. To my dismay, 58% of people voted for Jigidi jigsaw puzzles.
I admire puzzles, I admire puzzle creators and the ingenuity that it takes to create a good puzzle. As a solver, I am addicted to that AHA moment. There is a real feeling of joy at the moment that the problem solution or some other significant realisation becomes clear. That is my drug. Sadly, a jigidi doesn't give me an AHA. I still sometimes enter them, but I do have the same degree of being impressed with the creator.
But I wanted to show that one could create a real puzzle with jigidi. So this puzzle consists of two parts. In the first part, there are seven small (50-75 piece) jigidi puzzles. Each gives a word or phrase that should be entered into an ITH. If you solve all seven puzzles, you can get a prize, and you can also enter the second round, which consists of a single metapuzzle that takes as its input the seven answers from the first part.
If you need more information about Metapuzzles, I can certainly recommend my Magic Guide which is two years old, but still valid.
The six prizes for this event are (in alphabetical order):
Cook, Serve, Delicious!
Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered
Grimrush
Just Cause XXL Edition Note:This is the bundle with all the DLC
Monstrum
Spectrubes Infinity
Good luck. The event starts here
