Will Valve remove Sleeping Dogs from people's inventories who got it at 91% off and give refunds?

Honoring those purchases is essentially saying you'll foot the bill to the publisher and cover the mistake yourself. If you can, that is the honorable thing to do. But whereas Valve probably has the fuckton of money to throw at the problem, Gamersgate likely doesn't. I don't think they should be faulted at all with the extreme severity of the case.

don't misunderstand. I wasn't sucking up to valve, but rather making an attack on gamersgate and their shitty outfit. Im not actually a huge supporter of valve, ill be the first to call them out when they do something despicable, but for all valves many failings atleast they honour their sales and treat their customers with some respect. Which gamersgate doesn't.

Valve can honour those deals because they get enough money from TF2 keys alone. GG doesn't have other source of money, so when they found out how much they will lose they've done what they've done.

And it was only a $12 loss per sale. while on GG (which i bet everyone above is talking about), they were at a $60 loss per sale

And... yes, they will stop their site, leave the mistake for a whole day while pretending to do something about it, and finally they will take away the games and force refunds even though the customers are not the ones to blame. Also, they will post messages how they are extremely sorry for the inconvenience that they have created. Oh, wait, that was GamersGate, are we talking about Valve?

No it is not a fake. I made screenshot on my own.
Pretty sure that payment systems do to support negative payments. But there was a chance to add a lot of other stuff to make the total sum positive. But I did not tried to buy it.
Steam is good enough not to rob it. ;-)
