Makes sense, but there's a downside to that. You're less likely to be able to enter wishlist-based forum GAs that are limited by wishlist size. Granted, they're not very common, but I think this is going to change ;-)

Mostly to keep them tracked in case there are a nice sale, and to quickly track the games that interested me when a new bundle is released.

Seven now, and apart from that list, only Deus Ex 4, Resident Evil 7, and Fallout 4 come to mind, plus most any decent HOGs. But those I know of without the aid of a wishlist.
My GOG wishlist is considerably larger though (18 games), and I also have three titles on my HB wishlist, although one of those is waiting for a potential sale to give away here.

800+ since I use wishlist as a bookmark of sort to tag anything I find even semi-interesting... problem is it's a pain in the butt to remove game from Wishlist since you need to go to Wishlist page to do that, and with 800+ games it's a messy/slow page :(

you can uncheck a wishlisted item from the game's store page. So just open a new tab for that game.

You can use Enhanced Steam to directly remove games from your wishlist (without opening the game page).
