Dota 2 Keys price

TI4 Compendium came out. I immediately bought one. People get rid of their keys for cash to buy them too.

new chests .. it's a low blow to the trading of dota 2 ..
in matter of weeks if this continue .. dota 2 keys will be worth nothing

Keys often drop when people want to free up their items and turn them back into Wallet funds quickly. You see it happen during big sales or really good daily/weekend sales.

Right now, Bioshock Infinite, Darksiders 2 and Dragon Age are all on sale; add to that the fact that the DOTA 2 T14 Compendium just came out means people are rushing to sell off key stocks ASAP.

When this event is over, will thy go back to their normal price? Probably nobody knows the answer, but what do you think?

happy, i traded my last 11 dota keys yesterday for tf2 keys. ^^

I think that people are trying to sell their keys urgently to buy the new compendium. So the price is getting lower and lower

Oh great.Now my 24 dota2 keys are worth nothing(well they are but u get the point)

valve released 'chests' that dont require key to be opened.
And those are much higher quality than those opened by keys.

I don't think Valve has interest to break his market of dota2 keys

some people trade dota2 keys for less tf2 keys (1,5:1)...i think it could be a good investment

Great, I got 40 dota 2 old keys last October, and they suddenly became untradable and unmarketable overnight,with no sign and warning, and until now. I've watched the price went all the way down, and finally reach this point.

thats because the compendiums its out so ppl are selling keys to buy it for 9.99

When they hit 3 cents each, I'm gonna buy a bunch of them in case Valve brings the old system back :D

First and main reason - taking money to get and level up compendium.
Second one - 4 recent chests are opening without a key + 2 more opening with non-standart keys, so nobody (except Valve) really knows would you need this keys in future or they are for old chests only.

You guys think buying a bunch and waiting a bit to sell later is a good idea?

Whenever I look at the market, I always see the first pages being filled with keys by the same 20-30 people. Anyone else noticed this?

everyone want to sell keys for compendium after ti4 keys will again grow in price my prediction :)
