In short don't give games you gotten for free, they will not count towards a level, stuff from humble bundle, fanatical is mostly okay for it.

And if you want to get to level 10, it takes lots of patience (and even some money) as nothing is free in life.

It's like this. You are not obliged to buy games to give them away here. Some people will tell you to do that. You absolutely don't need to. You can enter stuff at level 0, if you want.

Most of us ended up on this site because we buy bundles, and wanted a place to give away extra copies, or games we don't like, without dealing with often exhausting traders. But it isn't a trading site, so don't expect to win back what you give. If people give away games thinking they will win games, they're doing it wrong. =)

You have to sacrifice for giveaways. Either your soul or three chickens on the night of the full moon. Do not forget the dancing. Clockwise if the moon is still rising that night, counter-clockwise if the moon is already descending.
