Comments themselves do not affect the dice. They however are a good indicator that person at hand uses forum often. This means finding hidden giveaways, solving puzzle giveaways and getting more invitations to private giveaway groups, which all will increase chances of winning.

Well I'm not sad you didn't win anything. No comments, no contributions, heck you don't even use Steam at all. If you win anything it will probably rot in your library, so better someone else who might use it win instead of you.

All of you who says that comments have to do with anything, I really doubt it.
From the FAQ:
I haven't won anything, and this other person has won a bunch. What gives?
Winners are selected at random from the database the moment a giveaway closes. The past history of a member has no affect on their chances of winning, and everyone always has an equal opportunity of being selected.

So according to you, entering puzzle and group giveaways with far lower than average numbers of entries doesn't increase your chances of winning? I think somebody needs a quick lesson in basic statistics...
If you call a coin toss 15 times, and enter 15 weekly lottery draws, don't be surprised if you win more coin tosses than lotteries...

Don't worry. I'm icy, bro. The guy above is just saying that a high number of comments is usually symptomatic of someone who takes part in the community, enters public giveaways, and maybe belongs to a few groups. Although one doesn't cause the other, the two are indirectly related.
Anyone trying to say there is a direct link is just trolling, and successfully it would appear...
